Because the song you download is in zip format. Extract it. And the songs will be in music+videos.

[deleted post]First spent some time with the phone.
Follow cellmaniacs instructions on battery to get it to normal capacity after a week.
Download UC browser for downloading external mp3 files and videos.
Download Metrotube for all youtube related stuff. Download GetThemAll app for maximising ur app availability.
Go to People Hub for all socialnetworking options.
If even after 10 days u feel the same way then post it here, we will have a talk...

Nick, 11 Mar 2013my concern is abt whatsapp, is it free or we have to purchase?Whatsapp is free to download and after that, free to use for 1 year. Then its 1$ per year. Same applies to whatapp on Android.

FALSE. Set your facebook account first in accounts under settings. Facebook upload will be enabled then. Its built-in in window phone and works flawlessly. File sending also works flawlessly.
need to download music from nokia store cant

FALSE. Use third party browsers and apps to download music.
cant set music files as ringtone
- FALSE. Your ringtone maker for this. if not preinstalled, download from store. Its free.
no call recording
- FALSE. Download call recording apps from store. Almost all are free including most popular one.
many basic apps are paid
-FALSE. There are thousands of basic free apps. Its subjective opinion.
no notification bar- TRUE but for notification centre not for bar. And live tiles almost eliminate its need. however, notification centre is coming in future updates.

no bluetooth exchange - Yes it can. It won't give you the option if you are running on battery saver mode. You will have to pair with the other device from the settings first
i cant connct it to my pc - Update your PC
cant create music playlist - Copy songs to music folder on your phone, select the files and folders you want to add to the playlist, right click and create playlist.
cant dwnload music frm intrnt .. only i cn do is log in at nokia store - Use UC broswer
i cant make any mp3 file as my ringtone - Yes you can, go in settings and sounds and ringtone from there select the file you want
i cant send video / mp3 via whatsapp - update your whatsapp
cant upload pic on facebook - First you will need to setup your facebook account in settings-accounts. then goto your photos app, open the pic, goto options-share-facebook

kri, 11 Mar 2013Friends I have to take a quick call between Lumia 620 an... moreIts a fairly easy call then. Go for Lumia 620. It has much better user experience than similar priced androids. WP8 is intuitive, simple and straightforward OS with lot of functionality built in like Office suit, Skydrive, full and proper offline navigation suite (Nokia HERE), Social network integration, Lync, Exchange server etc. Much productive out of the box than Android. Most important thing is day to day life performance. WP manages multitasking and RAM usages very efficiently and overall speed of operations is fast which results in much better user experience than Android.

[deleted post]Stop trolling dude. Did u just read what cellmaniac posted about battery? and u can download all sorts of files using UC or evo 3d browser. And u have spent less than 24 hours with ur phone and u conclude u cant upload photos to fb? its possible.
And as far as notification bar and ringtone it will come with windows blue thats scheduled for the end of this year and is confirmed for NL620.

Regarding battery, one more tip: Disable 'tap+send' (NFC) from settings. It is by default turned on and takes battery. You can always turn it on later when needed.
Also, turn off any unwanted background tasks.
Phone manual you received contains lots of battery saving and other usability tips.
I sincerely request to all first time users of WP8 to go through user manual once. It will make your WP8 Lumia learning curve easy!

I am not a applications or games freak at all

Please suggest me the best one out of these based on browsing pleasure,battery,camera,processor speed

Pricing is almost same for both

Most of the high quality games especially X-box games are paid but worth of money for serious gamer! Not all android games are available on WP8 but WP8 has many unique games which are not available in Android.

Use the phone till battery falls below 5% and then charge continuosly fully charge. Follow this strictly for next 6-7 charge/discharge cycles. Battery performance should increase by then.

Performance is serious issue in both phones. My friend himself own Xperia J and even after updating it to Jelly Bean, phone lags a lot. If you want capable android phone, extend your budget and buy phone with minimum of: 1GB RAM and dual core 1.2 GHz cortex A7 processor.
Lumia 620 being Windows Phone 8 device has much better raw performance for its configuration.
