... moreSome may argue that Google should have rewritten Android when they take over it from Open source organization (original developers of android) but most people have different opinion. Because current Java layer in Android makes application development (by saying application, I mean system apps, OS components and all other 3rd party apps) very easy and enables use of same on different type of hardware. eg. Its possible to run Android on any screen orientation and resolution by just adding 4-5 lines of code.
In short, Android is flexible and easy to modify and develop (characteristics of Open source model) because its written in Java. Google kept Android the way it was meant for by sacrificing on performance and I respect that. And today, Android is android because of being open source, highly customization and portable (i mean software portability).
And rewriting Android was as difficult as writing new platform from the scratch and also pointless. Also, it could have been impossible for Google of then (in 2005) as it was still an ad and service company by then.

It looks really good with rubberised removable buds and chrome plating on the outsides :)

flipkart has stopped pre orders for magenta cyan and green guess there is a huge demand and they might have exahutsed their per order count so hurry and order it soon or else even though it would release in a weeks time you wont get it until last week of march

I think Samsung didn't optimize JB properly or whatever.
JB is develop so that there is lag problem. We will soon know how JB perform because soon it will available on more phones and users defiantly comment if there is any lag problem. (Just like you)

But we have to buy a... moreYeah i know wh-108 slips out of ear almost every 5 mins and the fact is the basic design of nokia headset on the lower end phones have not changed for almost a decade...
I would suggest the samsung one for the ones who are on budget its under 500 and offers great quality and comfortable placement(atleast samsung makes that better than nokia does)

Its a principle reason behind lag of Android and its requirement of more resources in a form of processing power,RAM etc. Android being virtualized has disadvantage in hardware acceleration and 3D graphics rendering too. So Android requires very powerful processor and GPU in comparison to OS's that run natively. It also results in higher battery/power consumption.
This thing doesn't require proof. Its a technical limitation brought by architecture of Android. I am a computer science student and we have Android in syllabus and one question always come in university exam that what are the limitations of virtualization and relate them to real time performance of Android.
Google has tried to address lag in JB via project butter. What it does is prefetching instructions in advance and predicting user actions. It visually makes user believe that operations are lag free but the lag can not be removed technically unless and until OS runs native which is now not possible in case of Android now as it will cause incompatibility with existing apps and hardware.
Windows Phone 8 and all existing desktop versions of windows are written in C, C++, C# and they run on Windows NT kernel which is written in same language. So it runs native with unified architecture and requires much lesser resources and still runs efficiently. iOS also runs native on hybrid kernel written in C and C++. All linux distributions are also native to their kernel including Ubuntu.
I know this is all bit technical for people with non technical background but I have tried to explain in best possible way.

But we have to buy a... moreYes. That is what i mean. Buyers of 620,720 and 520 will have to buy better quality headset if they want to have good output as WH-108 is a very very basic headset. And good quality options start from 500 rs so ready to shell that money.
But advantage of bundling very basic headset is you get a choice if you always wanted something better than WH-208 in first place. In that case, what buyer will waste is 150-200 Rs on WH-108 which came with phone.
Maybe for a same reason, most of the manufacturers don't at all bundle headset with phone package in wester market.

i can give proof to any one, that jb is lagging. my frnd has galaxy s3 (his name is vivian. This is the first s3, which iam using), he updated it to jb, so he got multi window, pop up video, etc. This all are superior features. I love it very much. But when we goto apps menu and then to widget list, it gets hang. When we off the multi window, then the home screen and menu key are become blank (the wallpaper or background picture only, without any icons) and then the icons are becomes fast. This is also lag. When i change the gallery view, it hangs. Remember that this is s3 with 4 core. We swiped out all running apps, but still it gets hang. The ram usage is always 600+MB out of 850+MB. I dont know, why? I think the new jb wit premium suit update is not good for s3. Do u want proof?

But we have to buy a new headset after purchasing this phone. isn't it cellmaniac?
because I don't have any expectation from this headset, I used this headset and it is very average quality headset and I can't listen music more than 20min because it is also not a very comfortable headset.
