I called Nokia Store here in Pune today. The person told me a new thing in this Nokia620 in release in India -delay story. A few 'dummy pieces' for display have arrived last week. What an efficiency for NokiaIndia. And no word about date yet. Really this all delay is pulling people away fro Nokia.

If u drag n drop, the music will be in your phone and wit will start playing like sort by album or artist. this is not the way i listen to music! i want it to be played like what i like(play list or folder) try syncing your music with windows media palyer or mediago (itunes not support WP it will not work as intended! when i am not getting something from what it is intended to do - its a crap!! - After copy pasting your songs in the music folder, select the folders and songs you want to put in your particular playlist using shift+click or ctrl+click, then right click->Create Playlist. Name your playlist and you are done. Go to collections in your music app and you will find your newly created playlist over there and if in future you want to add a song to a playlist, just play that song, go to options select add to playlist and you are done again.
how will you find something that you downloaded to your phone n the phones native softwares cannot detect the item? i have many pdf files which i transfered through drag n drop, but its not showing in the list of pdf reader! where could i open it? or how could i send it as an attachedment? how can i install an app i downloaded directly from the appstore? - When you download anything, the OS will put it in the particular folder so that it is accessible to other apps as well. Put the pdfs in the documents folder, they will be accessible in pdf reader app. When you want to send it as an attachement go to your office app, scroll to the file you want to send, tap and hold, click on share, click on gmail/hotmail whatever you have and send it. You can do it alternatley by clicking the "+" icon then clicking on the office pin icon, select what file you want and attach. When you download an app from the appstore and save it in your SD Card. Go to store, tap on SD card, select the apps you want to install and you are done.
Agree things are different on WP. It doesn't mean its a crap and yes it a bit behind the competitors but its catching up soon. If you have any more questions you feel free to ask.

If it was to release tomorrow then NOKIA would have announced today ....and now htc 8s is drawing me closer as the price has come down to less than 17000 in retail and 17k online(flipkart) so any news as to when this elusive phone will be released in India

I'm happy that Nokia delayed their launch of 620 as I've bought iPhone 4S yesterday and beleive me guys this phone is really amazing. Don't try to compare Nokia with iPhone because iPhone is far better than Nokia.

As for file manager, what are the functions that you exactly did using a file manager? As for audio quality can't say much as I don't have the piece yet, but I don't think its has a status of "crap", may be it just needs a good pair of headsets.

HI,
I am using my L620 for the last 1 week. Its fast and responsive than any andorid of its same spec. Battery life is really good considering the 1300Mah battery. Now my observation about its speed and battery life is the lack of apps that we would have filled in to our Droids. Overall build quality is good too. The only available common apps are skype and facebook! Lack of a filemanger frustrates us terribly. Video codec support is limitted too, no good video player available for download from the apps store(i mean like in the droids they are good and free). I am a music lover and use to play music in my Xperia(I am a fan of Xperia and Walkman!!) but this one is a crap. if u wanna sync your music with this device, windows phone sync is just like the samsung kies(another crap) using sony mediago is as easy as 1 2 3 for Xperia.
Overall its just another phone not exciting anymore!!!

While One X has better screen. 820 also has expandable storage and removable battery, while One X has more internal storage. So if you love android go with One X. But if you want to try something new go with 820

Going by the price difference in 610 and 710. 720 will be at least 5k costlier. So if you have that much money you can get 720. But since you said you want it for photography. I say go with 720 as it has a better camera than 620. Music quality will be same on both devices. Use Nokia BH-505, and enjoy the best music quality irrespective of the device.

there are some ways we can tackle the other folder proble(like hard reset) but they are not permanent ,we have to wait till MS deals with it
