Hi pls friends, anyone please clear me these doubts, I am totally confused about Windows8.1, so pls clear my doubts thoroughly dear.
1 I heard that the formate of apps for Windows 8.1 will be appx and not xap. My question is will Windows 8.1 accept XAP file? Because I have backed up all my apps in XAP formaate to cloud. So after updating my 620 to Windows 8.1, will it be possible for me to install all the apps in XAP formate that are now backed up in the cloud?
2. Then my next question is..... will all the apps which r now available in wp store be available in aapx format or will it take time to be launched?
3. My last question is , I heard that Android apps can be installed in all Lumia devices after they are updated to Windows 8.1. Is this information true?
pls wp8lvr , give me a clear description on these three questions pls pls I am waiting for ur reply pls reply me ASAP.....

I'm marvels some people speaking about windows 8.1 update and we are not getting black update yet may be we will wail black update forever

Because sources say that apps and games that are designd to run only on 1GB ram devices will run smoothly on 512MB ram devices also after the update of Windows 8.1 . Pls tell me if its true. Very good UI and display but lacks some basic functions in OS (WP 8)
Overall its a good experience. all positive reviews given by everyone is 99% true. My hands on experience and review is as follows... (it comes with WP 8 OS)
The Problems:
- Excellent 5mp Camera with flash. Very good pic results in daylight or in full lights. Night vision is not included in nokia apps which come along with the device. Nokia smartcam, Nokia cinemagraph, Nokia panorama do not support the flash functions, which is a BIG drawback.
- Whats app is supported but cannot share music files via whatsapp
- CamScanner is Excellent
- Files sharing: cannot Send multiple files via bluetooth or whatsapp; u can only share via facebook, email, onenote etc.
- Music playlist creating and editing is very very very complicated, once you create the playlist one cannot remove any songs from it. Have to delete the playlist and create a new one.
- NO FM Ratio in this phone till now. There are supporting apps in the market but not for this phone.
- Headphones are not so good, they are quite big to fit in ur ears. There is no button on the headphone.
...So...while listening to songs and ur phone is in ur pocket, 1)U cannot pickup calls (Did not find any auto answer function either). 2)U cannot toggle between songs.
(These are very basic function which are expected to be in a smartphone)
No some good part of it:
- Great UI, Screen display, touch and Camera (built-in app and cam scanner)
- Nokia Smartcam is excellent in Daylight or full light areas.
- Settings are quite understandable (once u get used to the OS)
- The phone is very handy not too big and fits easily in ur hands and pockets. There are a few more good things too but cant remember as of now.
....waiting for WP 8 Black update to see some changes in the basic functions.

At which site... morePls dear!! jus wait. if nokia has announced update for L620 then they will release it. otherwise they would nt hv announced it like L525. ya its getting late but be patient u will get a good outcome! u can follow up the release at:

i have not been able to update till now as my wifi is troubling..will let u know soon.actually my phone also recieved the amber update much before all other lumia 620 handsets.
