my L620 i found updates but when i starts its say
you need to connect to Wi-Fi to download the update.
so what i do?my phone gone slow,i don't have WiFi.

AnonD-211041, 23 Jan 2014hi dear , i downloaded yxplayer from mobile9 site. i put it... morePriya as i told long time ago that wp8 os is very secure so microsoft not allow to download apps n games from other site.. it only verify apps which r downloaded from wp app store.
1- go to windowsphone.com in ur laptop and select any app or game.
dont click on install.
at bottom u get "download and install manualy" option. click on it ur .xap file automaticaly starts downloading.
done.
2- if u want video(media) player.. dont download yx player. it is worst player.
yx player is paid n it dont hav trial.
download "Moliplayer pro". it is best award wining player on wp8 store.. it has 15 days trial. after trial perio ends it asks for pay.
if u dont want to buy it then uninstall it n reinstall it again.. u get another 15days. do it after every 15 days when it asks for pay.

[deleted post]its bcoz windws store does not support apps that are not registered in the windows store so it would not detect it.......
and for download u should open the app website on ur pc and click "Download and install manually" option on the bottom left corner of the page.......

after taking its backup u should format ur sd card in pc and then insert in ur phone it then works as new...

AnonD-100814, 22 Jan 2014It works dude.. its standard procedure of installing apps n... morehi dear , i downloaded yxplayer from mobile9 site. i put it in my SD card. i restarted my phone. i am clear it is a xap file. i switched on my mobile data connection and opened the store tile as u said , i found SD card under apps and games. but when i clicked it, it opens but says verifying apps. i couldnt find the app inside. but its a xap file i am sure wat to do pls tell. then another thing i went to windowsphone.com using my laptop , i found all apps, but i am unable to find download option. i could find only install option. pls tell how to download apps from windowsphone store using laptop pls guide me dear

Best option to save your data charges again and again.. For same applications after formatting... Or wanna. Share application with friends... Download apps from website using computer.. And copy all files to SD card.... After sometime... There will be an option in store "SD card " ... On your data connection and install all apps from your SD card.... Data connection required only for checking file related info... Not to download. It will not EAT your data.

so we cant download apps n games more than 100mb.. u need wifi for it..
2- If u hav pc or laptop then connect ur internet to laptop.
go to windowsphone.com then find ur game n download it manualy (.xap) file..
now put this .xap file in ur sd card only.
restart ur phone.
now click on store tile u get sd card option at bottom.
click on it n u see ur game saved ther.
click and install. done.
Note- u need internet at installation time only for verify ur game or app.
enjoy.

hi. can this phone be used as a hot spot or modem? can i instal an fm radio app? is it good to watch videos i mean they gonna be pausing ? i'm talking about the internet videos or is network dependant ? and finally can this be connected to a tv? any answers will be great thanks a lot.

I had manually downloaded the apps but unable to install them because the phone is unable to detect sd card,even though i can access other media files but apps are still hidden in fact the card is hidden
