The worst phone ever.... I wonder why i wasted my money on this shit..Sometimes it wont turn on, sometimes it will not turn off , in a month i have to power reset it around 15-20 times, hangs 5-6 times in a day, sometimes it vibrates 15 to 20 seconds automatically, whatsapp very slow, ringtone u need to cut the song to 1 minute or so and only then you can make that thing as your ringtone, volume buttons may work instantly or after 5 mins, and still anyone thinks of buying this shit lumia 720... hatsoff .. go ahead and enter to the worl of hell

ms buy nokia coz nokia internaly testing android os on ther phone for backup plan.. but ms knws nokia is king of wp8 os lumia phones.. to avoide ths situation ms bout nokia so nokia now only makes wp8 phones in future..
except ths nothing change anythng..
hardware n innovation quality is still same here.. even better than before coz nokia facing money issue.. n after bringing by nokia now nokia doesnt fear about money for innovations n quality.. ms has lot n lot money to make innovations n improve quality..
also techies said no upcoming devices comes with lower price tag i.e. ms makes rs.15k phones to rs.8-9k.. coz now nokia devices directly comes from ms so now nokia doesnt need to pay ms heavy duty charges to aquire ther os n other thngs.. so ther r huge chances to prices get reduce but other oems like htc, samsung, huawei not reduce ther prices coz they want to pay ms for ther os..
so ms now plays in rs.8-9 k price tag to get huge market share n to beat ios n android.

I bought this fone last month. very smooth.. no lags at all.. but the capacitive buttons are working automatically without touching their.. I took it to nokia care, they reinstalled the software but still the problem is arise for every 2 mins after they reinstalled software.. its very irritating... >:O

nokia is still alive with ther nsn, networks n here(maps) division.
ms only buys nokias handset division..
ms not buy nokia name they only buy lumia and asha names.. so ms said that they still keep nokia logo on asha brand phones but they still in confusion with wp8 devices.. i.e. they keep alive lumia name of wp8 phone but coz of they not aquire nokia name so they r deciding another name for wp8 lumia devices but they still not decided it..
if they go with nokia logo then its gud news for us.
still this contract is applicable from 2014.. before that nokia is still free with ther plans n logo.. so dont wory.

Hi. I got a nokia lumia 720 for my hubby. Just a coupla weeks old. The problem is,it is now ringing if you use another phone to call,but the screen shows zero. Pls help

No need to update again
i wl explain u in detail..
1- gdr1,gdr2,gdr3 and wp8.1 blue updates named by microsoft..
2- gdr means genral distribution release.
3- gdr1,2,3 r small updates mainly for os bug fixing.. n make wp8 os very smooth n fluent..
4- in feb. 2013 every1 gets gdr1 direct from microsoft servers..
5- after that nokia claims that they want to add ther features(glance, double tap to wake, flip to r in nokia lumia series So ms now 1st gives ths update to nokia and nokia add ther features in os and rename it as amber..
6- gdr3 is also named bittersweet shimer by nokia n it roll out in end of november..
7- wp8.1 blue is major update n ms planning lots of features for wp8.1... n it comes in jan. or feb. 2014

i came fr the Philippines and i registered my globe sim to supersurf50 using 720, but when i turn-on the data connection, i cant still connect to the internet. please somebody help me what should i do. thanks

Hi Friends!
My purpose of commenting here will accomplish if it helps only one person to hammer out either to buy this cell or not.
I have been using nokia lumia 720 since 1 month. My comments will not subject to any prejudice or biasness. I was a android user previously.
I found this mobile amazing and just like charm.
Battery timing is awesome. with moderate use i can use it 3 days. Lot of texting and net browsing via wifi each day.
Mobile design is very sleek looks decent.
Screen is very vivid and bright.
Super sensitive touch technology is very effective.
No lags at all unlike android.
Buttery smooth.
512 RAM is enough for windows phone 8 os for surfing and normal gaming.
Texting is really awesome, no os can compete wp8 in this department.
Have little concern over network signal strength, but it's ignorable.
Camera quality is better than lumia 820 especially in low light photography.
People may have concern over app market, but it's growing day by day.
This is all i have observed about lumia 720. If you people have any query about lumia 720, please feel free to ask me.
