Google it like "windows phone recovery tool" and follow the instructions. The windows 8.1 size is 1.74GB. Make sure you take a back up of your data. After update your mobile looks like New one.

Yes, whatsapp is allowed to run in background even then whenever i download anything and comes out of whatsapp...the download stops...is there any solution to this problem?

Buy this blindly. My friend using this and he is android geek but now he lives only windows.....
Only don't do changes with region or language... Which cause damage on your phones GPS...
