I have moto G here in my home but "ok google" voice activation not working on it... I tried it several times from date of purchase but no luck..
looks like only moto x has voice activation feature..
ms just enabled voice activation in lumia denim.. n they easily done this because 800+ chips has dedicated voice activation engine...
just give them some time to make it possible on lower chips.

guys read two reviews of first buyers of 730/35 n 830...
n both buyers confidently saying that both 830 n 730 not heating anymore like previous devices..
it is very good news..

if voice activation feature is available on only...Qualcom snapdragon 800....!!
Then my question is.....Moto G have the same Chipset as Nokia Lumia 730.....Both have Qualcom Snapdragon 400 chipset....then how the "OK GOOGLE" feature is available on Moto G....??
And why "HEY CORTANA" is not supported on Nokia Lumia 730....!!
Really...it seems strange...!! when Voice activation feature supports....only Qualcom snapdragon 800...chipset....!!
This proves that voice activation feature is supportable on Qualcom Snapdragon 400 chipset also....!!
So may be Nokia Lumia 730 will get...this "HEY CORTANA" feature...after sometime....!! when ms will make it also compatable with...our 400 chipset devices...!!

hope....."HEY CORTANA"...feature will be available on lumia 730 also....!! Its just an software update...may be MS will make it available for all windows phone running on 8.1...after sometime....!!

ms only reserved it for ther high end devices..
but who knws.. ms can change ther mind anytime.
also srnsorcore has few more advantages like in navigation n much more.. it is actually future investment by ms n very useful for innovative devs who wants to deveope SensorCore related apps..

For example how would Bing Health and Fitness work.
So my best guess is passive voice activation must also work on lumia 730, will have to wait for someone to check the feature

From Zdnet , I found that this depends on Sensorcore -
Denim brings a host of new imaging features to Lumia devices, as well as "Hey Cortana" voice activation, bringing it up to par with Siri and Google Now. This feature leans on Nokia's SensorCore, its hub for controlling a smartphone's numerous sensors. As the name suggests, users will be able to say "Hey Cortana" to activate the personal assistant while the phone is idle.

Although WPCentral is saying it depends on 800x chipset but I found 1 link on wpcentral where SensorCore is explained and there also its mentioned it is present in Lumia 730 and even in Lumia 630 and Hey Cortana depends on it

in in conditions when it is necessary then keys gets automatically hide..
