Keep developing Symbian don't waste your time crapdow.

Anonymous, 02 Apr 2012If he had supported N9 moore insteed of killing it before I... moreDont cry about the past and things which are not gona happen..And stop blaming and spreading foul about wp because you love symbian or something..Go to a near by showroom and test a windows phone for a while.Then you will know why nokia chose wp..I was also crying foul once about why nokia didnt choose android and all.But now i ended up buying a windows phone.And one more thing,wp has only been here for about 1-2 years..Android(4years),Symbian(almost about 10years).iphone is iphone.Just because you dont see anyone using doesnt mean you can talk crap about something..

is there any ways to change the message tone besides that tone which had given in lumia ?
and is there any key to increase the volume of the message..everytime i got the message, i don't even notice it bcoz it's too slow..thanks ;-)

Windows phone is the most stable os which doesn require frequent rebooting, resets etc... Even Android lags when compared to wp7.5 these r not my words but test results of various tech blogs. Symbian is not stable n interms of synchronization it sucks.
Elop choosed windows because google didn allowed nokia to port nokia drive n maps in android n also google refused to pay nokia for pusing its OS sales. But Microsoft agreed for all the terms. For ur info Microsoft pays $250million to nokia every quarter.

I have got a lumia 800 cyan, 10 days ago, the design is unique, it feels comfortable in hand. the battery back up and loud speaker quality was very poor, but when I've connected to zune, i got it up dated, and boom!! battery back up is good now and volume is also very good. with an average use i have got 40 hours back up still it is showing 15 hours more to go. amazing!! the cyan colour is really good. and screen is just wow... Windows mobile is very good comparing to boring and risky cheap Android.. in ear hands free in the box is really good and produces a decent sound quality.over all I give this beauty 9 out of 10. after long time I have switched to Nokia. finally you made it Nokia. Thanks for giving such a great phone. I am an Apple hardcore phone, still liked this one from you. I recommend this phone.

I have a Nokia phone because of the maps and an Iphone because of user friendlines. To get a new phone, after my old Nokia is worn out, I bought Lumia 800. And I am heavily disappointed. The user Interphase is not good and leads to lots of frustration for me. For example, although I downloaded the Drive maps, I could not get it working. It refused to start and referred to my network settings. I figured out that Wifi has to be put on and not off. But putting Wifi on "on" makes no sense, because there is no Wifi where I use the maps. Once you know, it is easy, but there is no hint in the menu that indicates this. Further, the Drive maps are not in vertical North/South direction and seem not to be manually adjustable (or I have not yet found out how), which makes finding places difficult. The space bar is far to small, which makes writing difficult, as the period button is often hit by mistake. And depending on the orientation of the phone, the send button is right to the delete button, such that a wrong message to be deleted is easily sent by mistake. These are just a few examples, which adds to a general frustration. Also, the active screen is small compared to the size of the tepephone. I will propably sell it again and buy another Nokia - however only for reason of the maps - else I would stick to Iphone.
