Android is so buggy & resource hungry that samsung/htc are dedicating their entire R&D effort to come up with more cores/more RAM "spec phones".. But ALAS, even your God like friggin incarnation OS - Ice cream Sandwich - Lags and stutters...
PS: I was wondering, Are you a MAXX Mobile dealer, advertising in these forums... & What the hell is a MAXX Mobile anyway...
I wish you good luck with your every-week-custom ROM-rooting excercise... BTW the specs for Android are NOT market standards... It is a desperate effort from Samsung/HTC to hide the FREE Google's ugly laggy OS - What a bunch of Cheapskates !!! Also, the materials used in high end samsungs are cheap creaky plastic BUT what do ppl like you say - "Oh its so slim".. Pick a Lumia 800 in your hands and try the OS for GOD's sake.. If you can't afford it, please try a demo unit (its free to try @ Nokia shops)....

To me when I got the SGS2, I bought because of exynos chip and high speed Internet and super amoled! But after a while using it, some things came to the surface.
The phone was too big (for me), the res was crap( to me - which helps explain its amazing performance, it's running minimum res), the 1gb ram made no difference because you had a rom limit to store app (not 32gb). I could go on but I will say I recommended the phone to my friends and family at the time. Mum dad and friend bought it. As did I. Specs. Specs. Specs. But it really was not the priorities to me. Even though everyone's opinion seated mine. I hated it! I have gone back to the humble 4S for now, and it kicks ass. It's small light has an amazing screen and everything feels so premium (interface, app selection etc). And because I have a Bluetooth car kit I leave Bluetooth on. And because I have a wifi in my house I leave that on, and I get 24 hours med to heavy use. With the sgs2 I had to micro manage my phone! Ugh!! How annoying playing with your phone settings everyday. In fact the only thing I like now about the sgs2 is the plasma like picture quality despite the horrid resolution.
Which brings me to the new phones, the Nokia lumia 800 is not everything spec wise but I saw it in the shop. Smooth UI, pretty UI, nice screen size, terrific build quality and feel in hand. Why knock it? Cause it doesn't kill quadrant scores? Really quadrant? Wtf is the point in quadrant? I'm running angry birds and draw something not far cry 3.
Also the HTC one X looks cool as does the Nexus S, different phones but so far they seem good.
Don't get stuck on advertising. Cause that is what it all is. What do YOU like.

im a nokia fan..but i like the design..but i want more in lumia 800.. Wide video format support..memory card slot..and dnt connectivity to pc like symbian..fm transmiter.. All like simbian...

IS this lumia will shows popups for incoming SMS?
and shows delivery report and delivery tone for sending SMS?

I can say the Windows 7 phone is a great operating system, ive used one of the first windows 7 phones (LG Optimus 7) for about 6 months and I can say its a great OS, so I can say just from looking at Nokias Lumina 800 it will be a great phone! Nokia was the biggest phone manufactures in the world and im glad they dropped there Symian OS and paired up with Microsoft, nothing but good things to come out of this. It has a snapdragon cpu of 1.5 ghz, 512 MB ram, gorilla glass. My experience with a windows 7 phone was great, I have nothing negative to say about it, integrated facebook with windows live, tiles that scroll down, instead of across like IOS, just by looking at how Nokia made the phone and all its specs, it looks like a great phone!!! Windows 7 phones have only been out for 2 years, give it time, Windows 95, Microsoft's first GUI (graphic user interface) never took off right away, but now look, the majority of people own a computer with a Windows operating system on it.I went back to iphone 4s, but down the road when more Windows phones are out, ill be going back, finally Microsoft has done something good, its nothing like Microsoft mobile 6, nothing, give it a try, doesn't have to be the Lumina 800, there's lots of good manufactures that have jumped on the band wagon to make windows 7 phones, don't knock it, til you try it!!!!

Lumia 800 sucks and 900 will also suck! HOW & WHY ? Well, I will compare with other mobiles which are already available in market, whose share Microsoft and Nokia are trying to get a little bit.
3.7' screen compared to 4.3 ' screen size of Samsung S2 or Moto Razr XT 910/ MAXX Series
Screen technology (AMOLED) being used is almost at par but not in terms of density of pixels due to which richness is getting compromised in Lumia series.
Less or almost same battery life compared to its above counterparts. Maxx ofcourse is going to change the rules of the game with its battery life.
No slot for extending storage, big drawback in Lumia
No front camera
No gyroscope sensor which makes my gaming experience bad while i try to beat my my own scores at bed time....
No Bluetooth, this is a consicous decision because of windows OS on the phone. No comments !
RAM - I say win OS is good so i am happy with 512 MB RAM on a windows mobile unlike a andriod mobile which needs more RAM because its memory hungry and not corporate level, NOT stable and NOT sound like Win 7.5 Mango.
Water resistant - No
Slim - No, compared to Moto
Strong - No, compared to kevlar finish of Moto and upcoming some wierd alloy like material in Samsung S 3
Finish - I some how did not like the finish, rubbery finish but many others liked it but.
OS: With 7.5 Mango tables have turned, industry is now watching windows mobile OS, Its damn Stable and better than Android. I like Windows OS 7.5 and upcoming 8.0 which will be used in tab. Truly corporate level Mobile and TAB OS.
OS of Windows is turly corporate level with its 365 degree connectivity. Like connectivity to Exchange server, Lync Server, Share point , Office and Cloud. At the same time its also very user friendly which my dad can also use easily
BUT....who are Microsoft and Nokia sh@#$$ng, will they be able to capture any share of of their competitors with this kind of ultra cheap hardware specs inspite of good OS.
Final verdict, hardware of lumia is depressing when i think of upcoming marvels from Samsung, Moto and Apple. Because of such screensize and other vital hardware pieces missing i flush Lumia 800 and 900. At this price, i can get more hardware in Samsung or Moto.
Time to rethink of specs Lumia team !!! Atleast after Lumia 900, please come up with some market standard specs.
Lack of good hardware is forcing me to vote for droid devices like Samsung S 2, upcoming s3 and Moto Razr Series.
Lastly, no comparision between apple and mango ;-) Anyday, Apple is kind of cool, had its share and will continue to have its share irrespective of what ever MS and Nokia do together..

nokia give the wp a revolution with good camera good design and so on. developer must work with wp 7.5 for app. as a new operating system many features which is not included during release of lumia 800 its now given by nokia by different upgradation may be lumia 900 is the perfect mobile set for wp.

when u dowload songs it get saved in the phone memory go to menu>office>filemanger>music there u vil find the songs
