Why?did Nokia release this phone when they knew it had batterylife problems its totally disgusting, how can they switch from Symbian when there batteries would last between 2-3 days an with Windows only just lasting a day,Nokia better sort this problem out quickly or yet again the N97 failure there Windows phones will end up putting them in more trouble with another failure again choosing Windows

Yeah, from a pure power-user point of view... moren9 is still better after reading your comment
swipe is amazing and easy to use for everyone!
i dont find any third party apps a must have, the mustm have are already there in n9 like skype, joikuspot.
the available apps for n9 are decent, you dont need many other similar apps.

AnonD-29281, 20 Nov 2011nokia n9 is betterN9 is better?
Yeah, from a pure power-user point of view, the N9 leaves Windows Phone for dead. But, for the vast majority of smart phone users (read "iphone" users), the kind of power the N9 offers would be wasted.
Windows Phone offers a unique UX that is targeting the regular consumers, not the power-users. For most people, this means being able to Facebook; Twitter; Messaging; Listen to Music (Zune Pass); record and playback videos; YouTube; Take and Share Photos; Create, Edit and Share MS Office documents; Play games; Keep up to date with current weather and news events; send and recieve emails; surf the web; and make phone calls. Applications are a bonus and Windows Phone Marketplace is growing daily with good apps. IMO, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango integrates so much versatility so well, and its presented in a consumer friedly way that is unique to anything else that is out there -- N9 included.
Cheers.

The Buttons an the Nokia name take so much out of the Front lcd screen so instead of full use of the screen it wasteing to much space on it,look at the N9 an you do not see no wasted space on lcd screen at All,an Nokia better changed the design of the front screen so you get more usage of the screen on Windows phones

i switched to android bandwagon last year itself with SGS but now getting bored with it.. it gave me lot of hassles as well.. less backup, poor gps and really really missed ovi maps.. i had only nokias before galaxy s like 1600, 3230 then 5800.. all of them gave me peace of mind wit excellent battery, signal, reliablitity.. i was just bored by symbian ui.. now if they have to offer cooler smooth n functional os, i wil return blindly to nokia..

sago, 18 Nov 2011lolz nokia lumia 800 dont have a front facing camera?????? ... moreFront Facing Camera?
Guys, I've had two phones with Front Facing Camera, an N70 and E71. In the six years of combined use of the two phones, I may have used a FFC three times. (Not just playing around with it, but using it for a video call). Data usage charges in Australia are restrictive for Video calls. So, while it might seem like a great "feature" I don't think the majority of real world users will let a lack of an FFC be a turnoff. Cheers.

Jagadesh, 18 Nov 2011I would advice to wait for nokia's second mobile with this ... moreUnfortunately, if we all waited, there might not be another Nokia Windows Phone. Come on, help support the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango effort and buy the Lumia 800. Upgrade when the next Nokia phone comes out. At least that way we are showing Nokia that we do love WP7 and want to see them succeed. :)
