I like how this phone has navigation buttons, unlike the N9. Navigation buttons are so very useful.

N900 is still the only cellphone to run a full desktop version office suit (openoffice through EasyDebian)

has one with no use at all. I tried the phone if Android could be this smooth i might think of trying them again. But there have been complaints that there flagship ICS phone lags.

Buttons suck. They are a mess. They look bad. Also, they cause more navigation errors than Swipe UI does.

I am a nokia lover but that is impossible to popular a handset without font camera at this price range. X7 is the example of that. Nokia please think about that.

n9 is still better, 20 Nov 2011n9 is still better after reading your comment swipe is a... moreEveryone knows that the N9 has very limited developer support. It has very few apps. Everyone in favour of the N9 uses the defence that 'I don't need third-party apps/the current apps are decent' when in actual fact, the shortage of apps just goes to show that the device you just bought is dying. I watched videos of the N9 when I was interested in it and realised the whole swype technique is flawed. 'Swype from the edge and it puts the app into multitasking'. You do realise that when swyping through songs I saw countless times that the person accidentally swyped it away. And it also happened when using the browser.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is nicer than the N9. Metro Ui is very simple and therefore it is 'smooth as butter'. Just you wait, when the Apollo update is released, even better things will come and you will be sitting their, waiting for an update to come to your N9. Nokia ditched MeeGo for a reason and now has a partnership with Microsoft which means that they will be working hard in order to make Windows Phone its own. They already have Nokia Drive, Music, etc. and there is more to come. Windows Phone is so simple that people think its dumb when its not. There is not reason to overcomplicate a phone. The N9 is trying to be innovative with the whole swyping function but without buttons, you're making it harder for yourself. I want a button that takes me back, I want a button that brings me back to the homepage and I want a search button.

Try creating a complex document (tables; graphics; headers, footers, etc) in MS Word 2010 on your PC. Send it to your Android, then edit on Android, save it, and send it back to your PC. Tell me what you get when your done ;-)
