same here in terms of battery life, but don't insult the OS, there is nothing wrong with it (OK, you better install the latest firmware from Nokia to get more control over the storage, but that's it).
The reason for the battery drain are apps, in particular Whatsapp - because they do not use a standard mechanism to implement their live tile and hijack the music service, as far as I got... There seems to be a fix for that and we should have it with the next whatsapp update.

I love 820 coz i ve workd on it. But the prob is the app store.. its limited.
I m a kinda gaming freak so would download more games, does windows appstore has enuf games to hang out with?

Excellent hardware or phone but useless or garbage operating system due to battery drain & some lame limitation such as no alert or sms notification, live tiles interval and others.
Battery drain faster than any phones i owned previously. Required the owner to at least charge the phone twice a day. Average number of hours i got from this phone is -- Average of 15hours if i'm lucky(for calls, sms, whatsapp and some web browing(if i m lucky)>
when in not so lucky mode, i get like 8hours or less before the battery dies on me(from 100% full charge).
You guys here facing any issue like the abovementioned?

After posting this query, I also poked the net a bit, and after a lot of search, I also gleaned that USB OTG is not supported as yet by the Lumia devices, even though the snapdragon chipset allows it. But perhaps Windows has not enabled it! I too hope that MS will allow this in future releases or any updates! If Bluetooth file sharing is now allowed, why not allow OTG USB as well!
