    There is one more place where you can see its nokia forum just compare devices 820, 800, 920 and look for gorilla glass in General section you will see both 800 and 920 has it but 820 doesn't.

              you compared the GPU but forgetting CPU and also RAM.
              820 has 1.5Ghz CPU and 1GB RAM while 8S only has 1Ghz and 512MB RAM.

              820 is better by far distance from 8S

                Gorilla glass is missing in this phone.
                Below link provides all nokia phones with gorilla glass, in that list Lumia 820 is missing which confirms it.

                    The htc 8S more better than this phone, for mid range wp8.
                    -better battery capacity with 1700mAh
                    -better display ppi 4" for WVGA size
                    -gorilla glass protection
                    -better GPU with Adreno 305.

                      To Whom who tried lumia 820 does the phone can be readed as mass memory drive if connected to Pc or Not?

                      Also what about blutooth file transfer can i tansfer files from & to the phone directly & Can it be paired with other devices with different operating system?

                      I was Having Lumia 800 & it lacks Blutooth file transfer & its sound was appromitly low

                      So Please feed me back about above inquires

                          Absolutely loving the phone. So much faster response than s3. however has the battery life of my s2. only problem i have.

I thought it was a joke to some extent when android trolls, starting talking specs. It's Samsung or the Android manufactures, that are in a *specs* war, with one company coming out with some crazy core spec, sony is going to launch a 13 megapixel camera, like cmon. They are starting to over look, actual phone performance, and what is enough is actually enough.

                                  WINDOWS is a highly optimised OS for mobile platform...Doesn't need 4CORES. Lot of people don't understand this unfortunately.

                                    You can export your contacts as CSV and then import to your Microsoft account

                                    2.transfer pictures from my laptop running windows 7 pro

                                    The same as you copy to a thumb drive, the phone supports MTP mode

                                    3.transfer pics from my soon to be old galaxy 3

Its rubbish. Please get some education (I’m not trying to be insulting). It’s similar to the general misconception that your camera is better if it has more megapixels.

                                        The current craze for more and more cores started as a result of android phones needing more power to overcome the natural sluggishness of the Android OS (I’m an Android user, by the way); and in order to stand out among a lot of other android phones. So ‘More Cores’ became a major selling point for more and more phones because more and more phones were running on android. In today's smartphone market, most phones need quadcore because most phones run on android.

                                        But this does NOT apply to other operating systems. WP8 and IOS do NOT need quad core chips to run smoothly. 2 cores are perfectly sufficient for either IOS or WP8 to function as designed.

                                        Apple’s latest A6 Chip (currently used in the IPhone5) has only 2 cores. Does that mean the IPhone5 is not a Flagship phone?
