Hy guys.if you have sms priblm..follow this step...
Are you able to receive text messages?
Are you able to make or receive calls?
Are you able to browse the web or run applications requiring internet connection using the data connection you have with your respective Network Carriers?
You can try the following steps provided below. After this, you can try to send a text message again.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap mobile network (or cellular).
3. Tap Highest connection speed and select 2G.
4. Wait for at least 5 seconds and select 3G.
Kindly check too with your Network Carrier that you have the correct SMS center number. You can go to Messaging, tap on the three dots (...) and then go to Settings. You will see SMS center number there. You can also go to Settings, Applications and then Messaging to look for the said number.

Downloaded and playing it on the phone. Really super. And the best part is, for some of the apps (including 'Amazing Spider Man'), you can actually 'try before you buy', which is a really super option.

AnonD-149401, 26 May 2013is lumia 822 available here in the philippines? Lumia 822 is the best windows phone ever... Better than 920 since it is cheap and has card slot... But 920 stands out for its camera and display...
only problem for lumia 822 is that don't update to portico... Just use it as it is... It rocks...
expecting a solution for the sms problem after portico update from nokia soon.. Since the mobile is expected to launch in india... It's listed in univercell.in coming soon list...
I am using the phone in india since 3 months...

Im using this phone over GSM Network in Colombia and it works fantastic, however I did a downgrade to pre-portico because I was facing the same problem sending SMS, but I must say this phone it´s a rock, great battery, and full performance!!

I have been using lumia 822 for a month, and its totally an awesome phone.Its perfect in hand, more than that it is more cheaper than lumia 920 where both lumia phones have reletively the same features.
I bought lumia 822 specially for its expandable memory and cheaper price...
