Getting rid of my 830 this week.. It wasn't a great phone to begin with but the update to windows 10 made it worse,especially the camera.... Will never buy a windows phone again..good riddance and happy shopping to me when I pick out a new non windows phone.im excited..

I ask for microsoft team try to fix Lumia 830 main camera issue, please.... I gonna totally lose my mind,without using main camera.

I have windows 10 and I cannot read my email attachments. When I try to open them it seems that it not recognise what type they are and ask me to go to store to find a programme that open it. The strange thing is that if I try to forward them, then the attachments are recognised. Also in many cases, even if the attachment is only one file, it appears to have two files attached. This is very annoying, because I use the phone for my job and after the upgrade to windows phone 10 it is very difficult to manage my emails.
I try soft reset, as I find it as a recommendation for the problem, but it didn't help. I would appreciate any ideas on this strange behaviour. Thanks.

Sparkup, 29 Apr 2016Hello everyone its my first time here, I had an issue with... morejust delete the camera app.....then upgrade to WIN 10......then reinstall the app.actually the problem is in the app ...not in module. i had similar problem and i just did that ....now i use the built in camera app only (by pressing the camera button).....its working perfectly since then.......hope it will sort it .

I don't want to do a hard reset or any other magical solution. My 830 is working perfectly on 8.1 and difference with 10 is just not enough for me to take the gamble.

After hard reset and everything done..all is fine, but I still feel 1gb is not get enough for win10 update. Decided to shift to redmi note 3. Got one in flash sale..3gb,32gb one, oh my god its just awesome experience with the phone and i seriously say..windows store speed and others or leaps behind...decided to sell my lumia 830. Enjoy lumia 830 guys..

I am using this phone from last one year and i never experienced any problem with it. The rear camera is best in its quality with multi modes. Also the video quality is good with hd quality. Another best part of this phone is sound quality. Application works best and touch sensitivity is very good in this phone as compared with other phone.
As every phone has something lag, this phone also have something lagging but not like other phones and I am happy to use this phone and will suggest others too.

has anyone had this problem, I've had my 830 for just over a year now and its been working great until now but out of nowhere it just slows down a ton. for example it took 5 min for Cortana to load. During that time the annoying "loading..." appeared for alittle then just quit.

I bought it a year and a half ago. Hardware is solid. performance is smooth and resolution feels even better than 720p. Camera's superior and I'm in love with the design.
That being said... Windows is not the most powerful OS anymore unfortunately. Microsoft isn't just getting it with mobile platforms despite the beautiful OS design.

Mine is not just a comment. I am experiencing a unique problem with my lumia 830. My phone simply switched to flight mode on its own and since then all attempts to revert the situation have failed. It has been reset, flashed but to no avail. What could be responsible for this anomally and how can resolve the problem?
