Hi All,
If somebody is not sure if the phone is good...It IS. Perfect in all situations except the fact that the wats up and the viber apps is not showing their notifications from time to time, but once you restart the phone its all back to normal. The camera is much better than all Samsung and HTC phones I have had before (Last one HTC One M8).
The apps are running lets say not really fast, but smooth enough not to make you angry.
Very good choice for the price. Enjoy! :-)

I have this phone since April and the camera, oh the camera is one of the best i've ever had, compared with a Galaxy S6, it obviously takes more defined photos because of the more megapixels, but the white balance, the contrast and light is way better on the Lumia, on the other hand S6 takes better the colors (a bit overexposed) but the images look more alive. Compared with Iphone 6, it wins in every way except opturation speed and that iphone 6 has slow-mo video which is a very nice feature.
DON'T UPDATE TO WINDOWS 10 BETA. I've done this with a china rom (bought it from Amazon) and it only gave me problems. Apps constantly crashing, even the start menu and lock screen crash. More slow in every way, from opening apps to turn on and off, or even unlocking the phone. Just wait till official windows 10 come out, because the beta for China sucks.

I haven't experienced any problems with it till now. the camera quality is superb(tried it against an iphone 5s, and my phone fared better :D), i'd suggest one thing. go for the orange model. it looks gorgeous. I may buy an orange back cover soon :) but overall, an awesome phone :D

Within 1 year, 17 applications I used regularly, NO LONGER are compatible with the phone. Called Steven in "ATT's highest customer service dept" in Ohio who said "nothing we can do about it". Therefore I have to pay the "lease" off at $315 for a useless phone in order to purchase an Android or Apple who DOES keep up with technology OR just live with not using any Applications! Really? Map Quest doesn't even work on this phone any longer!

No doubt its a nice mobile to buy,but the model is already withdrawn from market in India, you may get it online. Its not wise to buy a 1 year old model, when new lumia phones are already lined up

Hello, I am looking forward to purchse the Lumia 830 currently? What do you think is it a good buy even now? Any idea if the phone lags with the current insider preview of Windows 10 cause it has a Snapdragon 400 which seems to be outdated.. Any suggestions?

It has one of the gorgeous look ha... moreU r they only one who is saying that, it's camera beats even z2 and s6 and iPhone 5s in the amount of details and in photographing in night 🌃, it seems that u use the Microsoft camera mode, u should use the Lumia mode

L830 is a useless phone. It has one of the gorgeous look handset i have ever seen but nothing else. Camera is average.i cant see any major difference between l830 & l730. Sometimes i feel l730 camera can beat l830 with its superb retina like display & only 6.7mp camera. Best thing of l830 is its classy look & 16gb inbuilt memory.
