Go for it . its a very beautiful and awesome device. But please buy with country warranty since many of us where facing camera issues and since i am not under country warranty i need to pay them a good amount to get the device serviced (changing camera unit).
PROS-
wireless charging,excellent battery backup, removable/changeable back door , memory card and Splendid camera .It will take real OSM pictures.
NFC,LTE,...
CONS-
Poor front cam , slightly weak onscreen haptic touch feedback, sometimes speaker may distort at full volume, headphones with higher impedance value wont work.
Doesn't have a good email client like gmail and universal sharing app like (xender).
rest every other useful applications are there , very stable and fluid OS.

Anonymous, 22 May 2015I want to buy lumia 830. plz suggest me ?? Stat away from Lumia 830!! The sound goes off for days, meaning that you can use the phone but ALL OTHER SOUNDS disappear! Then, after 4-6 days, the sounds usually return (after you've missed many calls because you couldn't hear them).

The problem can be fixed by removing the screen protector foil.

I thought the camera for making films didn't worked well,but it was my fault. I hadn't used the right button to stop the camera.I use my 830 now for 4 months.

Anyone else disappointed with the on-screen buttons on the 830?
I find I'm having to press them twice all the time and the haptic feedback is really weak.

riys, 21 May 2015I am also facing same problem....front camera 📷 works fine.... moreSame as here man. I just now came from Nokia care since i am not interested in paying 11k for the camera repair. So went back with this phone and using it without the camera. Really frustrated and very disappointed with such a delicate hardware of Lumia 830. Not even lasted 2 months of very careful usage. Feeling really sad. Never again.

GOPI, 11 May 2015After one month of using my Lumia 830 (with latest version)... moreI am also facing same problem....front camera 📷 works fine....this is very frustrating experience from such a big branded smartphone.....after three months very good 😊 experience....but from 20.05.15 the main feature of the phone malfunctioned ,said "some thing went wrong".........very disappointed because when I buy the phone,in the first day the camera 📷 always crashes,they replaced my phone....but after 3 months facing same problem....

Maybe the RAM for India has these problems.
I've got friends from England France even my country Iran that they have Lumia 830 and don't have any problems with their phones.

Chine Saw, 20 May 2015i wanted a upgraded phone for like US 150 size 5.something ... moreHi friends please don't buy Lumia 830 since so many phones have got the similar complaint with the camera and they are replacing the camera unit which will cost Rs.11000(India) (172$)since i don't have any Indian warranty am completely lost my phone which i spend on this phone. And the service people told me that they are stopping this Model L830.
So please beware of getting one
