Hi Gopi. Waiting for your reply. Did you problem got resolved because i found that this is some kind of a common issue with there early batch phones. But i have given my phone to service center yesterday and they didn't rectified the problem and told me to wait for 2 weeks for them to check the hardware issue and all. Please reply me if your problem got resolved since i believe this is not regarding hardware issue.
** Other peoples who are planning to take L830 kindly have this in mind because this will occur without any specific reason and if this happens then you have to waste a hell lot of time for getting a solution and am still far from solution. And also heard from Nokia care that they are stopping this Lumia 830 model and also these service peoples are not aware of checking L830 . **

Some apps didn't show all of them like Xbox music or Xbox video.
Download moly player(I'm not sure with the dictation)
It showed all of my movies and also music.

I have a 830 too but without that problem. Sometimes a film won't store on my sd card.

johti, 18 May 2015does the 830 have notification lightsHi Friends. I was using Lumia 830 for the past 3months and suddenly got a problem with camera. The main camera wont work and gets an error message as " Something went wrong" I have searched many Microsoft forums to get a solution but didn't get any sufficient information. And inside Microsoft support forum they are not providing any proper replies. From there from one of the same defected person replied me to take the phone to Nokia Care and thus i went there (India, Kerala , TVM). But since there are people with less knowledge simply reset the phone and told me that it might have a camera sensor fault. But i found that many devices had got this camera error around the globe and getting rectified with a firmware flashing since it is Microsoft issue with a buggy firmware for some of the devices. Now the Nokia care told me that they need to check the device for 2 weeks time and will let me know the issue.Also they have added that they don't have service for this Lumia 830 device. sadly my phone i had bought from Dubai. so i am not under warranty too. I am frustrated my last device was Huawei and it got a good service center that have people with good technical skills coz when i was encountered with some hardware issue they resolved it for me very professionally.
Many of friends and colleagues stopped me from buying windows or Lumia but my love for Nokia didn't stopped from getting one . But now am regretting with there lack of support and problems. But Lumia 830 is a very beautiful device by all means. I loved my phone and i don't know whether i can get it back as working. And i don't have the option to send it back to Dubai for a repair so am totally sucked up with Microsoft when they traded buggy firmwares for some first batch phones and doesn't provide any better resolution via Nokia care or by any other means.

If you are a gamer I don't recommend you to buy the 930 cause it has poor battery life and also it heats very much even for doing nothing.
Although you lose some great features like better camera and better screen,you'll get a lighter thinner phone with micro SD capability and a removable battery.
Besides the choice is yours.:)

The Lumia 830 has two advantages: SD card option and a removable battery. In anything else the Lumia 930 just is better. And it's not that more expensive.

Hi Gopi. kindly reply me if you get any solution. i am facing the same camera problem from today onwards without any reason. did you find any workarounds to resolve the "something went wrong" issue on camera.

Just traded HTC one for Nokia 830. Great phone in every field. Only web browsing when zooming pages is bad. Could anyone recommend web browser that acts like chrome? Thanks

Hi,
Quick question. When you get a call does your lumia vibrate continuously till the end of the ringtone? I am literally gone mad without getting answers, my lumia 925 only vibrates once at the start of ringtone that too for 2-3 secs. funny thing is it vibrates continuously when its in "vibration mode only". Please don't say "you don't know how to use your mobile"
