This was never a problem with windows phone. From the mail apps, you can only add certain type of files. But you can attach almost every type of file in mail. Just long press any file and select share....in the option select the mail account you want to share it from and you are good to go.

2. Where is storage of microsoft office file ?

Why do you need the storage location?? Default location is not user accessible, but you can access them from office hub itself.

3. Is 830 support full function in creating word / excel / powder point / pdf ?

PowerPoint and pdf creation are yet not available.

4. How to make any folder to store file ?

Download Files app from store.

5. Where we can see data / open our memory card ?

Didn't understand...sorry

6. When we download any thing from internet like songs / videos etc. where it stores ?

Internet downloads will be stored in default locations. Photos in picture folder, songs in music, pdf and other will be stores in Downloads folder. You can set where you want to store downloads - in phone memory or sd card, from storage sense app.

Songs should be downloaded from MIX RADIO and songs are stored in music.......and last but not the least...to access all the data stored in memory card download 'files' frm store which is a file manager for wp.

              Dear All,
              I am using windows phone from starting. I have used lumia 510 and now have HTC 8S. My use is professional.

              I want to buy 830 now. But some clarification needed. Please friends reply.

                There is always a pros and cons on both the platform
                Android is laggy , need more power, ram, huge processor and after few months you really feel laggy on the device.
                major pros are as better apps than windows.....
                Considering Windows if far better than android..
                power efficient os, no lag even on quadcore 1.2ghz processor run smoother and better camera and excellent build quality..
                major cons if your a apps addicted than go for android
                windows apps is growing ..... it also covers most of the app.
                i prefer windows for best performance-camera-excellent build quality and better battery life....
                lumia 730 is better value for money
                lumia 830 price is little bit higher but it very good camera quality performance and excellent built quality than lumia 730 .

                        ~MY THOUGHTS WINDOWS PHONE 8.1~
                        Having using using Microsoft ecosystem since last May on my secondary NL720 device. Although it has some cons. but overall configuration of OS is really sleek and stylish. It will take a while for familiar.
                        No doubt Microsoft done a superb job to established its mobile OS to give customers another option in very competitive smartphone market where Android is the king.The good which i like is u can control your background running apps, in result of this OS battery last a long, although live tiles are also a unique idea to stay updated but tiles updates info only for some period of the day.
                        MAIN CONS:-
                        1. SETTINGS: 1st major cons. of this OS is its settings menu which is really confusing it should be determined in a different category wise tabs or groups for easy and user friendly access. But Microsoft throw all controling components of OS and settings here and there. Suppose if you are looking for hard reset option or mobile data option or even you want to copy your contacts from sim to phone then it will definitely make you annoy to find all this in emergency.
                        2. CONTACTS: If you store two different numbers with same name in your contact list and u want to make call one of them well no you press one name and it will automatically make call without showing number which is obviously irritating. Even if you want to copy your contacts from sim to phone then its really hard to find where the hell this option us exist specialy if u r new user even it took 2 to 3 days for me to find out this which is located in people hub option. Finally whenever u want to store or create any new contact it didn't display the storage location like sim, email or phone.
                        3. ACTON CENTRE TOGGLES: In action centre there is only 6 toggles u can add it should have more option for new toggles to add specialy heavily used mobile data option which didn't exist in action centre.
                        Above all cons are only my thoughts and observation and they are the minor issues which will definatly solve in near future updates.

                        APPS GAP:-
                        Most of commonly used apps are there in store but majority of those apps are still in beta phase and functionality wise they are 2 years behind specialy social apps (like FB, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram,Viber etc) then Google and Apple apps library.

                        THE MOST concerning thing is that windows phone didn't have any Google & Apple apps in its store . Which is really sad and main problem for its downfall.Majority of the customers in globe are using google apps to meet their daily demands specialy google maps for navigation and entertaining youtube app . Although Here maps are good option but this application have some issues in some regions like in my country Pakistan . Microsoft should sort out what matter they have had with Google on urgent basis to brings there apps in WP store. If it happens then it will be a huge bonus for this OS . Even Google and Apple have each other apps in their respective stores including Microsoft apps as well, then why windows phone dont have all this stuff in its store . Microsoft become so lazy to sort out these issues with other vendors otherwise they will lose the battle and majority of their customers will shift to other OS.Even i am also shifted to Andriod although i like windowsphone so much and functionality and smoothness wise i rated it above on andriod and iOS.

                        These are the genuine issues which i found during my experience and then describe here to share with all of you . Microsoft has to address all these matters on war footing basis to stay alive in competition.

                            Seriously at the time of launch in many forums i have seriously criticised the Nokia lumia 830 being a underpower device with a snapdragon 400 or whether front camera or hd screen..But as i am indian and at this point of time there is very very limited availability of nokia lumia 930 here in New Delhi..
                            so after long waiting of Nokia Lumia 930 got fully tired and even after the launch unavailability or limited supply of Nokia Lumia 930 made me to purchase Nokia Lumia 830(orange) On this Diwali at 26500 inr on offline shops as on online i have to pay much more for nokia lumia 830( orange) compare to white and black variant.Coming to device..

                            Look

                            In looks it just beat competitor flagship devices..as i have invested my hard earned money more on looks and solid feel looks much premium.

                            Display

                            As i have never owned a full hd display device so Nokia Lumia 830 screen is much better for me but i feel and as seen in some videos Nokia lumia 930 screen looks better but only in video.

                            Processor + Ram

                            As during the launch my main focus to criticize the Nokia Lumia 830 was processor and ram but after owning i just feel opposite ..truly love the speed no lag as during asphalt 8 i have not seen any lag.But overall i feel that if this phone was having Snap 800 it would have seriously become a futuristic phone but with snap 400 i can't say.

                            Camera

                            front camera in Night is just like a cheap camera nothing good deserve a hate.. but in day light it is way way better than 2 or 3 mp camera ..one day i was sitting in the park and was checking rear camera and by mistake i clicked on front camera and it looks so sharp and clear that i was not believing that it is just 0.9 mp camera.coming to rear camera its a lumia camera and pureview fantastic camera nothing to say bad about..It is just awesome.

                            Apps

                            Yes you will find ample amount of apps of your needs but i am waiting for the day when windows phones will be getting exclusiveness release of biggest games and apps just like now Apple gets and then android.

                            Battery

                            Battery life is good..But seriously i have not fully tested the battery am not a heavy user..but average use can make up to 24hrs+ easily..

                            Conclusion

                            If you love Nokia buy it ..If you love Windows Phones buy it.. you can't find the overall better experience in any any Nokia or windows phones.I love Nokia thats why i bought this device as my last loyalty i am not a windows phones lover..My Last Nokia Phone and may be first and Last Windows phone.

                                Hi..

                                I have a lumia 720 (using it since close to 1 yr and 4 months). I have (and many others) have an issue with my WIFI connectivity. It doesn't connect to most of the Wifi connections. Very rarely I can connect to WiFi. This issue started after using the phone for about 4 weeks. Check below threads too.

                                Is there any similar issues with this phone?

                                Frankly I love the phone except for this issue (UI is beautiful and unique, display is beautiful, battery back up is decent, good navigation support, no hassles with mobile network etc etc). But WiFi such a basic feature that this can be categorized as a critical issue. But there is no resolution available. I personally feel this is an issue in OS. Hence I prefer and and suggest others not to buy ANY Windows phone.
