Actually i want to purchase a new phone an... moreBro....if u want to switch to Windows phone there are certain things you need to consider...
1. User interface will be totally different. Not familiar for Android users.
2. Apps will sometimes make you confused. Though now Windows store has good no of apps..still you will find sometimes lost.
3. But the smoothness and fluid windows phone will give you lot of satisfaction that is for sure. So if you want to try one better buy a cheaper one ..use it ..get it know..then after few days if you are satisfied go for flagships. Thanks

1. Consideration of FRIENDLY USER (this is very importance).
2. Make sure the APP you need is there.
3. Hardware quality.

Hello all..!!
Actually i want to purchase a new phone and wants also to switch from android to windows for different platform and diff feeling but whenever i ask to someone they rapidly sayin that dont go for windows go for android..
I really cant understand that what happen to people's only prefer android and make discourage the people who wants to buy windows phone..
Plz temme me WINDOWS users what should i do??
Go with it or not..!
People's makes me confuse ttly..!!

I dont thnk many people will go for this phone becoz it has huge priced. it has low screen resolution. Normal ips display, poor front cam & battery compared 2 l730. It has only advantage of good camera, big display & internal memory. So if the price range in between 20k-22k, many people will buy it. Microsoft should think abt this very seriously. Otherwise it will be Flop Flagship!!

A question to users from an Android user,has this latest windows phone now got a proper file system,also a proper gallery where you can move pics/vids etc into folders etc for easy finding and using,also can you go into your music gallery and use a song for a ring tone? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,I'm an android user and would like to try something new, ive never used a windows phone and would like to switch, I was wondering if this phone supports Cricket Wireless Frequency bands, I know Cricket uses AT@T's network but I would like a confirmation, also, for those who switched from Android to Windows and stayed, how was the transition? Was it difficult to adjust? It'd be much appreciated if I got a reply.

I use this phone for 1month. Mind blowing performance. Photo quality is amazing. Also video quality is fantastic. My sister bought a Samsung galaxy s5 and my brother An iPhone but when I compared with those phones my Lumia 830 was the best. IPhone photo quality is very bad and poor quality and galaxy has battery problem its backup is too poor whereas my Lumia has long battery life. Best photo capturing camera and new operating system. All games run smoothly and apps run without any problem. Its has enough internal memory and also use memory card and now you can use your memory card for installing all apps and games. Best for camera lovers. Though its front facing camera is 0.9 but its quality obviously very good better than other phones' so called 2mp camera so don't think its front facing camera's quality is poor.

bob@vn, 20 Oct 2014The high connection speed is only 3g. I thought all L830 is 4g? For the love of Christ, Lumia 830 is a 4g phone!Understand that the 4g feature will not work on your L830 unless the network is available there.

It is good phone but if we compare its operating systems basic functions like flash notification, wifi direct, background download also many application in this os are very far behind.....
I was using lumia 620 for a year and found most of useful applications and games are either not available or are paid in its apps store. There is no multiple selection of messages in WhatsApp still now
I was planning to buy this phone but when i compare it samsung galaxy note 3 neo which is low in cost but also have a wonderful performance
I am also a big fan of nokia but now its os wp8.1 is very far behind as compare to android
I don't know what is fun behind that our os is not hanging. ..
But when asked for apps and games then we have to hide our mobile ...
So don't become blind only by company name ....

I have a Lumia 625 and it is excellent. This one looks great. Can't wait to put my hands on!
Windows mobile is an easy and very functional way to get your life online, without paying too much. We can agree that it does not bend like iPhone 6, or may lack like Samsung.
But maybe is the wise way to go, save a few bucks and get a nice resourceful phone?

excellent phone/...using this phone for last two weeks...awesome UI, excellent performance, excellent picture quality n sound z too good....must buy...better than slowdroid in every manner...battery backup is also very good.....
