A hands on review after using the phone for 7 days now. I am not os loyal freak. I use the best which suits my need. Before buying the 920. I have used a 620 for few days. That actually prompted me to go for the 920.
Battery life is very reasonable. If you are an average user, then you can easily run a day without any issues with 3G on. On 2G you can probably run 2 days.
OS is refreshing. It's very light. Straight forward. Only thing if at all I miss from a samsung andriod os is the swipe to call and the drop down widgets. You gotta use to see the difference. If you r os bias then don't bother trying. Coz you will find something to complain.
Built quality is simply amazing. When you pay a lump sum, you need to feel the quality in hand. Even though the samsung"s are light and hand friendly design. With the 920 you feel premium. The screen is simply amazing. The uni body is sleek
It's a matter of time windows will catch up with the droids. I hope samsung does not do the same mistake nokia did few years back by assuming nothing will happen.
Healthily competition is very important. I hope windows will give a good run for th droids and iOS.

When I'm using my Lumia 920 as a WiFi hotspot, my laptop say's it's a limited connection, so i can't connect to the internet. Please someone help me to solve this problem. I'm using at&t unlocked lumia 920.

most of the usable apps are paid on Microsoft store... and its true.....not only for nokia ......but same conditions are for HTC..hawei...Samsung .lg.and.all other mobile brands...with windows phone os.....

Using it for some time, I can only say this: AWESOME. Once get used to the Phone, you'll understand how great it's features are. Amazingly sharp and good screen, I can read everything when the sun shines directly on my Phone, while others have trouble reading their phones in direct sunlight. The camera is amazing as well, PV does it's job, and Smart Cam app is coming, good news for those who use their camera a lot. Sure, some things are lacking in WP8, but there's an update coming. The smoothness and simplicity of using WP8 is a relief for me. This Phone get's a 10 out of 10. Nokia delivered a great Phone that can only become better (EOS, phablets 1080p and WP9) and they are right back on track.

A couple of things I found off the mark with the Nokia 920...
The Nokia 920 does not display the year for any emails, the video camera has no zoom function, the phone does not have a Caller Announce capability, the browser can only go Backwards; no Forward functionality and if you are an average users of the phone on LTE you will be charging a couple of times per day(Rogers in Canada).

Gabriel, 28 Jun 2013My Lumia's 920 camera button is not working (nothing happen... morebro, it may be a problem with mother board.I had the same problem with mine and went to care centre,they replaced the mother board.Now its working well.But they will take atleast 10 days for workout.Go to nokia care centre

Thanks for this comment. I've been an apple fan ever since the iPhone 3G but from my 4S i wanted to change things up a little but i'm not a fan of android, been looking at this phone as an option and thanks to you, i just might have gotten the oush i needed. I'll go have a pplay with it at the store see how it goes. :)

Been Using NL920 for 2weeks..everything seems fine for the past 2 weeks until today when I was surfing the net suddenly it goes blank, black screen with NOKIA name appear. Tried hard reset as posted by some users.. still no go. Never had dis experience before with other smartphones. Anyone had this experience with NL920 before?? pls advice..

has anyone tried using a 2amp usb charger for lumia 920?? is it even safe to use? a technician in nokia store advised me not to use a 2amp charger. use only 1-1.5amp.. but ive read some people are using a 2amp charger. tia.
