My son is an Apple centric fanatic, I prefer high Android devices so you can imagine the debates at home. My wife however, had an old Nokia flip phone and wanted to upgrade to a smartphone. No disrespect to my wife but she is hopeless when it comes to technical matters so to avoid any frustration on our part - trying to demonstrate our respective devices we suggested she goes to the store and ask the sales person to demonstrate the iPhone5, Samsung Galaxy SIV and the Nokia Lumia 920 - well to cut a long story short, she chose the Nokia 920. Now putting aside any preconceived prejudices about about Windows Phone 8, my son & I had swallow our pride and set the 920 up for my wife and to our surprise and may I say, embarrassment, we had to concede, Windows 8 & Phone 8 OS is very intuitive, simple to use, logical, crisp clean and uncluttered system - in fact we liked the WP8 OS so much we have since upgraded our phones to WP8 devices. "To truly understand the value of something new or different, we first should learn to swallow our pride and open our eyes to other possibilities"

my job in the mobile servicing center and 10 brand mobile are servicing here. In my country only my company is the authorized mobile service care. So I know which brand and what type of model are mostly coming to our servicing care. I see android os phones are coming by their software & application related problem.

Very happy with this phone. No glitch or waiting time. Everything is so smooth and quick. Integrates with my Windows 8 laptop, xbox games and syncs up music and photos from my iTunes too! I super like it. No complaints whatsoever.

If you really are using a Lumia 920, you should be annoyed with the shortcomings of the OS with the basic functions of smartphones but if you're not annoyed with it, well you're just full of it and a complete fan boy of the BETA version OS.

The Lumia phones will get WP9, and the support will continue as of it's a regular update. It works the same as any other OS, so no problem at all. Only a good thing.
