AnonD-78060, 19 Jan 2013- There is no quick way to close an app that you don't need... moreI know but the app will be also in the background if I press the windows logo which consumes memory and power. I want to fully terminating the app is better. This is the usual way unless microsoft is providing new technology here.
With my ipad the open apps are getting frozen when memory is full and when I try to re-open an app again while it was frozen it starts from the beginning. (if I have a browser opened with many taps and opened it again while it was in background for a while it restart sessions to all websites again). This is a headache because sometimse I read an article on a website (long one) and get disconnected form the internet. If I try to open the browser it tries to start the session and the page is lost rather than keeping it in offline. Apple was providing ugly solution to utilize memory (good for memory utilization but bad due effect it does on the end users).
If microsoft is providing something here better than that it is a great thing. But I don't think so.

Guys, Its too late and non availability,major problem since mid jan prices slashed, wait fr 500$ by march. Nxt 970 Lumina android I bet now anybody pool n stake. Whatever its an past model ad hype is gone. Topico update is nothing but eye wash fellows.

manu, 22 Jan 2013pls buy nokia lumia 920 its world's best smartphone I mean ... moreLumia 920 was the best phone in 2012 but its not worthy to buy this phone today because its already 2013. until now its not available here in our country where as some 2013 high end phones model are nearly to lunch. please think of it before buying this phone due to below specs compared on the coming high end phones from other manufacturer. come on Nokia be on time to deliver the demand of consumers, as per Nokia personnel it is battle of the OS which is true. but how can you compete on the battle of demand and supply? take time to observe Apple and Samsung the way they satisfied there customers. honestly i used Nokia phones from Nokia 3530, Nokia 7610 & Nokia C6-01 but this loyalty will change because I'm not satisfied with Nokia today based on their incapability to deliver/supply their high end unit on time.

Now, if you dont buy all that crap of "freedom", "appz" and "gammmezzz" that fandroids like to troll all over the net then 920 it is and of course there are more pluses but you have to test the phones for yourself in a store and decide what's best for you...

If Nokia produced same kind of mobiles in the near future then Samsung and apple will be shutdown there company. Nokia should launch more lumia mobiles more 20 lumia phones is enough
