Scre... moreI haven't used Lumia 920 camera, but according to experts & user reviews no doubt it far better than those phones. But Amoled screen referesing rate is already much higher that what Nokia is offering in Lumia 920 secondly Amoled screen consumes less battery compare other screen types except when it diplaying white colour. Many people don't know that HTC & Iphone screens are made by samsung, but still samsung prefer super amoled screen in its flagship devices. This arguments are endless so no need to waist time in this because new technologies are coming so fast that it becomes outdated with in one year. All other features mentioned by you regarding Lumia 920 I totally agree with you but those are not basic things. But with this price tag here in India and being a NOKIA fan atleast I am not with NOKIA.

What i realize, Nokia is focusing only on camera quality so its better if they start manufacturing cameras rather than mobile phones.
Nokia is also not using good operating system. I am not going to buy any nokia phone at any rate.

I dont understand how these brainlesd ppl bought S3 when launched which costed 43k and no new innovation or features and which is as slow as hell. All my friends who bought it are sick n tired of S3's battery life and are waiting to buy the Lumia 920.

Screen is faster than all those you listed. The super sensitive touchscreen lets you use with gloves in the winter. First phone with Optical Image Stabilization (floating lens). The daylight camera is on par with other high end phones but in low light and video recording, it destroys them. Wireless charging built in. You get lifetime fully offline GPS voice navigation in Nokia Drive. Should cost more than those other phones.

Rs. 37,000/- for Lumia 920 ???????? Not Worth at all. This price really compled me to think why Nokia's financial condition is so bad today, even they had to sell their head office building. Nokia is itself responsible for their downfall, this is another blunder from them. Nokia should learn from samsung, S3 is available in 32,000/- & Note 2 at 37,000/- & HTC one X+ at 38,000/- these phones are much more powerful than Lumia 920 in both the ways hardware & features. If Nokia continues this trends of blunders after 5 or 6 years we will say "there was a company called NOKIA".
If anybody wants to use windows phone 8 then please wait for hardly a month Samsung ATIV S will be available in India at much resonable price with same specification & with much better battery life and bigger screen. I am cancelling my pre booking and would like to advise everybody not to go for Lumia 920 at this price if u r purchasing with ur hard earn money. At this price I prefer Samsung Note 2.

AnonD-92553, 11 Jan 2013If talking about mid range or low end android users then ye... moreI beg to differ but that is not true. Im using the high end galaxy note2 from last 6 months (earlier note1, galaxy s). Although the lag is minimal with the latest jellybone it is not "completely" gone! Occasional freezes and force closes now seem to be the inherent part of android that is very annoying and not likely to go away until unless the android is written right from the scratch same as WP8 did. To conclude more cores just dont help in terms of better performance, save for the strange bugs - auto rotate, smart stay to name few with my note2, those are sometimes unique with each manufacturer (I know this since my galaxy s gps bug.. Sigh)

On another note , my lumia800 (about year old and now with wife) still runs amazingly fast and much more stable. I sometimes just cant resist to open the tiles/apps page and scrolling like crazy before I go to sleep lol. Although its just about UI but its so pleasant and much more fun to use! However, now as I have ordered my 920 here in India which got me on toes until finally getting released, Im so excited to re-live the fun. I have also ordered surface rt which will arrive around same time when my lumia arrives. Being a microsoft dev, I also appreciate what microsoft is doing to build their new ecosystem. Infact coming 15th theres a tech days event to talk about microsoft windows phone development, hands on labs etc and first time ever (if I remember it correct) in my otherwise small city. Feel so excited to attend the event along with my two devices, third being my w8pro running laptop which they asked is mandatory for attending the event. In the end microsoft and nokia and doing GREAT for the windows ecosystem and their efforts are not a waste some suggets here and are certainly paying off! Thanks for reading!
