AnonD-95388, 11 Jan 2013Rs. 37,000/- for Lumia 920 ???????? Not Worth at all. This... moreThis phone is the most innovative phone hardware wise. Screen is faster than all those you listed. The super sensitive touchscreen lets you use with gloves in the winter. First phone with Optical Image Stabilization (floating lens). The daylight camera is on par with other high end phones but in low light and video recording, it destroys them. Wireless charging built in. You get lifetime fully offline GPS voice navigation in Nokia Drive. Should cost more than those other phones.

Rs. 37,000/- for Lumia 920 ???????? Not Worth at all. This price really compled me to think why Nokia's financial condition is so bad today, even they had to sell their head office building. Nokia is itself responsible for their downfall, this is another blunder from them. Nokia should learn from samsung, S3 is available in 32,000/- & Note 2 at 37,000/- & HTC one X+ at 38,000/- these phones are much more powerful than Lumia 920 in both the ways hardware & features. If Nokia continues this trends of blunders after 5 or 6 years we will say "there was a company called NOKIA".
If anybody wants to use windows phone 8 then please wait for hardly a month Samsung ATIV S will be available in India at much resonable price with same specification & with much better battery life and bigger screen. I am cancelling my pre booking and would like to advise everybody not to go for Lumia 920 at this price if u r purchasing with ur hard earn money. At this price I prefer Samsung Note 2.

AnonD-92553, 11 Jan 2013If talking about mid range or low end android users then ye... moreI beg to differ but that is not true. Im using the high end galaxy note2 from last 6 months (earlier note1, galaxy s). Although the lag is minimal with the latest jellybone it is not "completely" gone! Occasional freezes and force closes now seem to be the inherent part of android that is very annoying and not likely to go away until unless the android is written right from the scratch same as WP8 did. To conclude more cores just dont help in terms of better performance, save for the strange bugs - auto rotate, smart stay to name few with my note2, those are sometimes unique with each manufacturer (I know this since my galaxy s gps bug.. Sigh)
On another note , my lumia800 (about year old and now with wife) still runs amazingly fast and much more stable. I sometimes just cant resist to open the tiles/apps page and scrolling like crazy before I go to sleep lol. Although its just about UI but its so pleasant and much more fun to use! However, now as I have ordered my 920 here in India which got me on toes until finally getting released, Im so excited to re-live the fun. I have also ordered surface rt which will arrive around same time when my lumia arrives. Being a microsoft dev, I also appreciate what microsoft is doing to build their new ecosystem. Infact coming 15th theres a tech days event to talk about microsoft windows phone development, hands on labs etc and first time ever (if I remember it correct) in my otherwise small city. Feel so excited to attend the event along with my two devices, third being my w8pro running laptop which they asked is mandatory for attending the event. In the end microsoft and nokia and doing GREAT for the windows ecosystem and their efforts are not a waste some suggets here and are certainly paying off! Thanks for reading!

I dont agree if u are comparing a high end phone then compare it with another high end.People using high end android never use task killers every now and then..This phone is awesome in looks and features but not as usable as android high end ones.

99% of Android Phone owners spend 90% of their time in any given day sitting on the task killer screen searching for ways to better the performance and reduce the lag. If you don't believe me notice it yourselves and most android owners know this for a fact but won't agree to it.
Windows Phones are the next big trend and those who adopt to this trend at the earliest can be part of the very cool clan of WP8 owners.

AnonD-99445, 10 Jan 2013The phone looks awesome . The UI is great . The functinalit... moreAre you a joke. The Lumia 920 is way ahead than S3 (Android) or iPhone (iOS) in terms of UI, Usability and Functionality. The WP8 OS is the simplest, easiest to use and most fluid OS in the market right now with zero lag (and that's why it does not need a task killer, because it never lags. Android needs it because the OS made on Linux is so slow and laggy that without a task killer no one can use an Android phone). WP8 is an OS that is out of the world with mind blowing performance where even a Lumia 620 beats the S3 in terms of benchmarks (http://mynokiablog.com/2012/12/26/lumia-620-bests-both-the-sgs-3-and-the-htc-8s-in-browser-benchmarks/).
The Lumia 920 is better than the S3 or iPhone 5 in every aspect, be it display, camera, wireless charging, performance, OS, usability. It's because of people like you who for no reason promoted Android so much that many of my family members ended up buying phones made out of that shitty Android OS and now are suffering with the slow and laggy performance.
But now most people now are waiting to switch to the Lumia 920 , 820 or the 620 based on their spending budgets.
You can stick with your ver priced Galaxy S3 with the crappy battery performance of only 2 hours and which was defeated by the lowest range Lumia 620. Imagine what the Lumia 920 can do then.

The phone looks awesome . The UI is great . The functinality and performance are however poor . Very few apps support multitasking . Samsung galaxy 3 and i phone 5 are miles miles ahead in terms of usability . The phone rarely hangs but if ut hangs u need to restart it unlike in the Galaxy phones where u can use the task manager to the fullest. The camera is definitely better than both s3 n i phone .however thats about it . The Biggest drawback is the WINDOWS PHONE 8 os which delivers scratchy performance with all google services like youtube ,google maps . infact google had stopped the services of googlemaps for a couple of days last week on this platform .The battery life is only slightly better than samsung galaxy s3 (my primary phone ) .
FOR A BUDGET LIKE 38 K , the Phone is a waste .
