hai guys, i decided to buy nokia lumia 1020 than lumia 920. but after read your comment, made me think, nokia lumia 920 is better than nokia 1020.

I have Lumia 920 black for a month now. Everything is working exactly as it should after Amber Update, and it worked as well before too. I have tons of apps installed just from curiosity and there is no phone speed impact at all. The camera is just plain awesome. I've been keeping an eye on the "Other storage" is around 1.2 Gb and after so many (un)installed programs I think it's reasonable enough size. Under heavy gaming device do tends to build up heat, but that's pretty much normal. Never froze, reset, hang or whatever.
I'm really satisfied with my choice It works like charm.

2. Can you call people like when your not at home where you have the wifi like if I was at a store could I call someone there without my wifi?

I suggest wait for the WP 8.1 upgrade to come out because there are some rumors spreading that all/some current WP8 devices might not be getting the WP8.1 upgrade but instead, it'll be getting just an update (GDR update). If I were you, wait 'till February when Microsoft officially takes over Nokia. We just have to wait and see what Microsoft have really in store for Nokia. In my own honest opinion, wait for February to come.

hi
i am thinking to buy this phone
but i am having below confusion
1. battery backup i am very normal user of phone msg,calls,whatsapp, 1 movie on mobile which is once in a week this thing only
2. overheating issue
3. bluetooth issue
4. we cant talk over earphone
5. gdr3 update is arriving on phone or not
6. Email i dont want to sync my phone from mail server again again & again e.g. if i downloaded some mail on mobile then i can open tha mail without net also
7. is there any app for monitoring call,data,sms plan in windows phone
8. in whatsapp new update we can send pre-recorded videos,images
9. how we can check that updates for any app arrived in wp marketplace

Very good speed , beautiful real untiscratch screen , strong built , very fluid and smooth . I used sony ericsson the last 10 years , android the last 3 years . My last android was xperia s ..good one but hangs a lot . I was afraid to switch to wp nokia ..but after I read the comments here I decided to buy it and it was the right choice .

Its good in use, its only two defects are it freezes if you tab two or more time in a same application, and it becomes overheat if you you use internet for long time through sim esp 4g

@, 03 Jan 2014F A Q once again- 920 vs 925 former is USD 100 less. ... moreThis is a tough one as preference plays a large part here. The 925 camera is marginally better no argument there. Otherwise its about the design and that's subjective and personal to you. You may want to check how the 925 speakers compare to the 920. For me although I did like the 925 it was £150 more and so I went for the 920 and love it 😊

Just put anything important to you on the start screen for quick access. Was always Android before and also have a 4s through work. I prefer WP to both, not as feature rich as Android but not as vanilla as IOS. Just my opinion though!

Friends can tell me how is the navigation experience are you having with 920. I am still using the Nokia n8 as my current phone and n8 navigation is quite awesome . But now I'm planing to switch to Nokia 920 .
