JD, 24 Dec 2013i had the nokia lumia 900 it was great. i got the 920 rcent... moreEverything is awesome with this phone except the overheating problem.
The worst example is when I just use it to take about 10 pictures, it gets really hot and after I powered off it to let it cool down, suddenly it can't power on!!!
Have to wait an hour or so and after then tried to push the power button again and it still can't turn on!!! Only after searching the internet, I found the way and you have to push the power longer and then push the volume down button for a while and then it finally turn on to my relief!!!!
After this problem, I've decided to sell my lumia 920 and stayed with my lumia 820 because I have no problem like this with lumia 820 because it has a detachable battery. Never will I buy a lumia 920 like model phone again even if it has a better camera.

I installed lumia 'Black' developer's version and it had been fine. But now i realize i'm having problems with NFC and now i often don't get LED light. Not sire whether its software or hardware issue. But when final lumia Black updates getting do i get full firmware update again?

Lumia Black is a forthcoming firmware update from Nokia for all Lumia devices. It was previously known as 'Bittersweet
shimmer' during its development.
Lumia Black is set for release in late 2013 and early 2014 and it will premier on the Lumia 1520 . While an official changelog is not known, there are numerous features that have been confirmed, including:
+ Glance screen: new color choice for night mode
+ Glance screen: notifications
+ Glance screen: pedometer, custom text and calendar info
+ RAW camera support (for Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520)
+ New camera algorithms, especially for Lumia 1020 (tone mapping, noise reduction)

metering and improved autofocus to the whole WP8 range, while the Lumia 920 will also get its ISO setting ceiling pushed from 800 to 3,200.
The Nokia Lumia Amber update will allow you to install a number of cool apps, too (that are not themselves part
of the update). The Nokia Video Trimmer and Nokia Video Upload will help you edit and share videos that you've
captured with your Lumia phone.
The Nokia HERE suite can be updated, once Amber is installed. The new version allows for easier map updates,
only downloading the changes in a map instead of downloading the whole thing (this saves time and data).
Additionally, the new Nokia Glance Screen brings a clock and notifications to the lockscreen. Unfortunately, the Lumia 520 and Lumia 625 will miss out on this feature.
The Amber update also enables a couple of new gestures – double-tap the screen in standby to wake the phone (ala Nokia N9) and flip-to-mute-ringer.
