(1) is it that no matter what we do, the 2GB will never be as fast as 1GB and below?

all i can say is "N70 rocks", this is the N-series that is more stable that all N-Series today so go for N70... im using it since Jan 2006 til now it works very fine...

You must use other video converter programs to watch your videos. I recommend you to use mp4 format instead 3gp. Mp4 has a better video and sound quality. Some of the converters are xilisoft and imtoo mp4 converter. But the best one is "winavi" mp4 converter. I recommend you "Winavi mp4 Converter". It converts almost all videos very fast in compare to others. Convert your videos in this quality: "176x144 resolution, 384 Kbps Video and 44100hz- 128 Kbps Sound quality. This will give the best solution. The videos will be very fluent. N72 also supports 352x288 resolution videos, but there is no need since your display is 176x208. By the way you can watch divx and xvid files with smartmovie (It should be at least version 3.21).By...

I really want to have that nokia n70. Many students in our school, THE FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY, prefer nseries particularly my most admired phone.
Please nokia give me one... I really really wanted to have that phone. I will continually suppoort NOKIA if you give me one and i will suggest to my friends to use nokia phones rather than the rest..

hide ur shrt cut icons.....go to tools >> settings>>active standby...turn it off....

hey guyss. PLS HELP ME ON THIS..wenever i transfer videos(windows media player format) on to my fone it shows the file isnt valid.. n wen i convert the video into nokia multimedia player format ...its length reduces down to 10secs ..the video may be of 30 mins ,,1hr,,30 secs...it reduces to 10 secs..pls help

no the colour of this fone does not fade away..the body is sturdy ..though the slider system is a bit of problem sumtimes... but nuthing grave..its a good fone..
hey guys ...can u hide ur fotos or videos in this fone...it all appears in the gallery itself ..sumbody pls tell me how to do it

Do i need to upgrade the filmware? Im afraid of spoiling my phone if i wrongly do it (no confident of connecting the usb to upgrade ;p )
What will happen after i upgrade? Any different.

I have heard that,The colour of that cell can removed easily.Is that true?The body of that cell made with which metarial?

Hello all I am in a terrible position.
I had samsung e700 in which i had stored 457 contacts .
Then i bought a n70 and have been using it for the past 5 months without any problems (except for the font changing auto maticalyy into a ridiculous one).
Then, i wanted to transfer contacts from my e700 phone memory to my n70.
Since n70 did not have an infrared port,
i had to copy all contacts into my sim one by one from my e700 and then copied the whole sim to my n70 and then deleted the sim and continued the process and after app. 3 rounds, all my contacts wrer copied to my n70 in 2hrs 20 min.
Now i have all my contacts in my n70 stored in the contact field as follows:eg. name is aaa and no is 555
then every name has been stord as
LAST NAME
aaa
MOBILE
555.
In the setings i have set it to display last name first.
But, strangely ehenever i get a call, the number is storedin the phone memory, the number gets displayed BUT THE NAME DOES NOT GET DISPLAYED.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING
Anyone having any idea please post, i am in a state of complete helplessness.
