    Vijay,

is it that no matter what we do, the 2GB will never be as fast as 1GB and below?

An excellent phone!!!! I use a 2 GB card and is doing well !!! just that the phone slows down a bit... But I now keep the phone memory free to enable faster operation of the phone ! The logs and messages slows downm the system as well! so try deleting or use memory card to store messages !!!

                      I'm sorry but I don't know if N70 supports 2 GB Memory.

                      To Batista

The conflict between RS-MMC (or Mobil MMC) and RS-DV-MMC occurs because of the name and the way you are using. May be MMC Mobil and RS-DV-MMC are the same products. You can understand this difference on back side of your card. Standart RS-MMC has 7 pins at back side whereas RS-DV-MMC has more. You can only understand the exact speed when you use your card directly with a USB 2.0 Card Reader that supports MMC V4.0. If you connect your phone to your computer and try uploading files you will not see any difference. Although some phones have USB 2.0 support the users still are complaining of low speed. The reason is that higher speed causes a little heat and a little more money. Therefore phone manufactures won't include a full USB2.0 support...

OK for easy stuff, but too many lock ups. Three repairs and no better. Auto keyguard seems to stuff it up, I have to remove the battery to reboot, takes forever.

how will N70 react if we put in 2GB MMCM?

Ahmet.. Thanks for the info. But what about MMCmobile against RS DV MMC. I've heard MMCmobile cards has a higher read/write rate compare to RS DV MMC especially the ATP brand 512MB compare to Kingston 512MB.
Also, one site says RS DV MMC cards has the same read/write compare to RS MMC. both has 2.5 MB/s transfer rate.. Kinda confuse now.... help!

I received my N70 yesterday, and I am nothing but absolutely pleased with the buy.

The phone is a bit slow on start up, and certain applications, but as a whole, The NOKIA N70, is really great.VERY IMPRESSED!!

If your phone is slow, than change your original RS-MMC with RS-DV-MMC Card. I strongly offer you all to buy "Kingston mobil RS-DV-MMC Mobil Card". This will improve your speed.

The maximum capasity of RS-DV-MMC is today 2 GB. N70 supports, so far I know, max 1 GB. I prefer you all that you use a high quality cards like Kingston, Sandisk. TwinMOS etc. You can have data looses in low quality cards. So be careful..
