people who always complain about nokia's popular phone are just jealous cuz its either they cant afford one or they simply don't know how to use it. lets face it homos... nokia still has the bigger piece of the pie in global market.
as for me im happy with my 9500 and n70. they both make a good statement to the public and made my mobile life easey and convenient. eat your heart out homos...

I have a question. Can somebody tell me how i can open the Nokia N70, so I can place the battery and the sim card?

Hi,
Ok guys seriously is this phone good or not, I really wanted to go in for this phone, however see a number of complaints about the operating speed battery life etc, so I’v become a bit skeptical. I am seriously contemplating buying this phone. Another query is if i can use my memory card from my 6600 with this phone.

Don't know what phone are you dudes using,it takes about 10 sec to open up gallery..never tested how long it takes for it to open, cos i never shut my mobile down after opening it for first time:)And calling is as fast as with any mobile i have been using. I find nothing wrong in this mobile..good job Nokia.

The Nokia N70 must have been designed to improve road safety, as it is impossible for a driver to manipulate the mobile whilst driving.
Also Nokia forgot to provide a magnifing glass to operate the message section.
The battery condtion indicator is very poor.
I have brought my old faithful 3010 back into service.

This is a bad, bad phone. Yes, it's slow (typical start-up speed around 50 seconds - just to turn on! - plus it takes about 30 seconds to choose a menu option. Try opening the gallery and you won't be able to resist the urge to throw this phone into the nearest lake!). It's advertised as a "2MP 3G phone", but that's a breach of Trading Standards. The *back* camera is 2MP, but the front camera is a lousy VGA lens - one-eighth of the resolution. So if you're 3G/video-calling, your friend just sees an absolutely crap-quality image. Plus, as a guy with stubble (and I can't believe a phone like this came from a country like Finland, where *everyone* has a beard) the damn phone rips your facial hairs out!! Yes, every time I hold the phone to my ear, the keys grip onto my whiskers, and rip out several hairs! How crap is that?!
Avoid this phone like the plague!

still this phone is pritty sh*t and were in 2006 i don't expect to wait for 5 minutes for my phone to load up what if someone was dying and i had to call an ambulance by the time i had turned my phone on they'd probly be dead infact they'll probly be dead burried and had the funeral

Here's my hint to you:
While calling, press the center nav. key (the center joystick, so to speak, I don't even know what's that called), and you'll be opening your contacts.

i have had the n70 now for about 2 months and am affraid to say that the h/set has dissapointed me. When turning the phone on i experience a long delay whilst it loads up all the aplications i know people may think that is a bit pettie but its things like that what wind me up and spending that much money on a h/set you exspect it to be perfect also if im on the phone and somebody wants a number of me i can't get into my phonebook whilst on the call i mean come on nokia you could do that with the 3210. I also think that the sliding case for the camera on the back is just 2 easy to slide down i find my self taking random pictures of black when it's in my pocket and wasting memory i have also been experiencing major problems with my gallery because most of the time it wont open my images and everything freezes just wondered if any of you guys were experiencing the same problem or maybe it's just my h/set.
overall the nokia n70 is a quality phone the cameras sh*t hot and most things on the h/set are perfect i just think that there is 1 or 2 things nokia have let slip through their fingers i kind of get the feeling they do it on purpose so you go buy a different phone but for a person like me who isn't dirt rich and is living on an average wage it's a lot of money to spend to find out it isn't quite what it's cracked out to be

You're just another Nokia client! You just had bad luck, that's all! It could happen to other phones, as well...
I assumed some risks, too, when I bought mine. But it works perfectly. The only problem is that bug on the media key, when turning the auto-lock mode on. But that can be solved by upgrading the software!
