Hello,
to change the screen saver, simply go tot themes, select the theme u have put in use, the go to options , edit, and there will show the power saver thinge, change it to date and time or text, haha,, anything, e mail me at llamtk@hotmail.com

really expensive mobile after successfull series of smartphones and a lot of software problems? plus no stereo speakers again!

I have always been a nokia fan but this phone has disappointed me.. firstly it is soooo slow that it takes ages for the menu to open. Secondly wenever i make a call i get the message "active call diverts" whereas i have cancelled my diverts a million times and even showed it to my network n they hav failed to fix the problem. the phone keeps shutting down by itself to take a rest and the keypad lights go off wenever the like n come back wen i switch the phone on again. nokia has disappointed me

when i first got my n70, i really love love love it! i'm just having problems receiving text messages and voice mail lately. is there anyone who can help me with this little problem... tnx

i've encountered similiar problem as in sudden changed of ringtone to silent mode. I've the problem rectified by upgrading the software to version 3.0546.2.3 by nokia centre. The only setback with this software is you might not be able to use the chinese dictionary as it has incorporate with another chinese fonts (HK Chinese) which nokia centre might not even able to rectify at this present moment.

Im facing an issue with the N70 i bought 2 months back. Though I choose the profile as General and have the tone's set properly , the incoming rings (tones) are not coming in i.e. it goes to the silent mode.
If i switch on-off, the first call rings and subsequent calls go to silent mode.
Request if anyone can help on this.

Just bought my N70 yesterday and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Just one thing it's missing: Nature Park. My husband has it on his 6021 and it's the cutest game ever. Is there any way you can get it on an N70, anyone know? Or is there any other puzzle/tetris style games that you CAN get on the N70?
Also: Anyone know where to get smart/proffessional looking themes for the N70, as opposed to the dodgy looking ones available to download? I love the ones that come with the phone but would like more, similar ones.

well, this is my first nokia that ive bought personally, and t tell the truth i thought i was impressed, but as time would have it, i wasnt. yes, the phone feels good in the hands, nice weight and all but the little platicky bit on the back that covers the camera lens aint so nice. it feels as if it will break any moment, moeover, its quite clumsy as it doesnt fix into place and can slide off easily, activating the cam when its in a pouch or ur pocket etc....other thn that, the build quality seems quite good, very good actually paticularly the metal bi on the front. however, when it comes to the software, it gets worse. it is slooooow, at least compared to all my last phones which included, spv smartphones, sonyE smart phones, and a myriad of oter ones. when going into a program it takes a good few moments to react, then to seemingly boot up, then to produce the icons or images, in other words, sloooooooooow. if that wernt enough, the screen goes blank sometimes in the process as if the phone forgets what it was doin. when its up and runing it cool tho. then comes the shut off problem, i swear the phone does things 2 spite me. it shut off in the middle of a call, or when jus sitting there, or anytime as a matter of a fact. then sometimes it rings, sometimes it dont, metimes it plays my ringtone, most of the time it plays nokia tune, i mean, theres no controlling it. to make things worse, the acessories that comes with it are as flimsy as ever, great feelin tho, but they are weak. my earpiece broke in about a week, and the usb, two days later. on the good side, great features, everything u need in a phone only a touchscreen is whats missing, i just dont understand why it is that when u transfer something via bluetoth that it saves in messages then u have to open it, then choose to save it, before u have it in ur files, i mean, i know its a smart phone and all but.....daaaaamn!! finishing i got to say its a great phone thats just greatly flawed, i hope nokia sees its downfalls and make it up in the other n-series. i still see nokia as only being second to SE, but great none the less.

I just bought n70 3 wks ago.I am experiencing a problem now.i cant switch off or on.i have to take out the battery to swich off.if i put in it will go on and after 3min will start flashing and freeze.

To N70 users:
I'm sure you are aware of the camera issue in N70. When you capture a picture by holding the phone in the horizontal position(like normal digital camera),the photos turns out to be a portrait format instead of landscape format. Did anyone realise this problem? Anybody knows how to transform the viewer in a landscape view instead of a portrait view when the phone is held in the horizontal position? Please help! Thanks!
