Attention to all n70 users - new ringtone/alerts patch out for phone. Follow this link and intall patch - it is safe as it's from the offical nokia web site.

Some people have had problems with incoming calls or messages and the phone doesn't ring. Install patch and maybe that problem will go away.

There is a patch at last for the ring tone problem...hopefully this will solve the rining problem once for all....mine is ringing from yesterday after they update the firmware and install the patch....besides that I should be loving the phone again..

how comes i cant put videos on the phone its says mpeg4, and i did and still says incorrect format??PLZ HELP ASAP

Just wondering what does this 354 x 416 pixels means ? meaning that it has a bigger screen then N70 or the pixels more only ? today i compared my n70 with n90 and i see no difference in the size of the screen . please help ..

dont know what the fuss is with this phone i really dont think that much to it tbh its like a brick i prefer the d600

I have a problem with the phone, in fact with the memory card. I installed some n-gage games, with blizzard ofcourse, they work fine but I guess I overloaded the card and now the phone won't start with the card in. Did this happen to anyone else?? Anyway I'll buy a 1GB card, I don't want to leave the phone in service for 3-4 days for that 64.

I have a hands free Bluetooth SEEFreeKit SFK306 car kit that works fine with my Nokia 6600, my Nokia 6630, Ngage and Sony Ericson V800. However It will not work with my New Nokia N70, it pairs fine, and the buttons on the car hand free work, i.e. press the redial on the hand free and the N70 redials. However no audio is sent from the phone to the hands free and from the hands free to the phone, to have a conversation you must hold the phone to your ear – not hands free! I contacted club nokia whose only reply was nokia phones don’t support 3rd party accessories. I took a trip to an independent Nokia service centre and was told they had heard from Nokia (unofficially) that the new generation ok Nokia phones had been designed to specifically not work with 3rd party Bluetooth accessories. He tried the hands free with several new gen Nokia’s and none worked, he tried a few older phones and no problem!!

guys, i think the phone doesn't ring because of a program that show id caller at a screen size. may be u should try removing it. it works.

In my country Nokia n70 is 800 €$.phone is not good.800$ is too much for this phone.

I have the n70 for 2 months now, and had the first software problem, the nokia didnt done a good one. now sometimes it happen the phone dosent ring, and only if i turn off and back it is working again. so please be caerful to buy now, or wiat a bit to buy because the software v 2.0536.0.2 is not good.
wait for the next one that will be better, but the phone is really good i think.

great fone, some probs encountered though:
- sms alert tone sometimes doesn't go on when i receive a message;
- same prob w/ ringtones
- front camera images are reversed (quite disconcerting for me, like viewing a mirror image)
- phone freezes when the card is filled with images
- not all pics can be viewed with the image editor, what gives?
- how do i turn of the sensor so the screen is always bright?
will a firmware upgrade solve the abovementioned problems?

To N70:
You'll have to switch the fone to a silent mode.

The N70 has intermediate ringing problem!
I think it's a common problem on this N70 and if you have a "missed call", the phone will not ring if the same number calls in again. Disappointing !

i just love this phone just wondering how long can the battery life can last SOMEONE plz answer that!! so cool that i will be getting one this christmas so cheap in singapore $488 ONLY!!!!!

I am one of the first owners of the N70 here in New York and people are amazed of what this phone is capable of, from a 2MP camera, a Modem for your laptop, and especially the MP3, just upgrade your memory card to a 2 Gigs and you wont be needing your ipod. although newer N-series are coming out lately im about to sell this phone and get me the lastest model of the N-series
