How much memory does this phone have all together?? and should i get this phone or the SE w900?

Cheers Dude, Just fed up of O2 messing me about, so i wrote my letter of complaint and emailed it to em see what they say and then if i get no response it will go in the post to the head office or somewhere MuHAHAHAHAHA lol

You sound like a mate of mine who had nonstop permanent problems from O2. My sympathies for you. Well I am NEARLY there with a malfunctioning N70 main camera which refuses to take pictures!! Everytime I do it a blank blue screen appears instead of the picture even though I can hear the camera shutters.. so anyway am off to birmingham to drop it at the O2 store for them to give me a temporary one since there's no o2 store in stoke!!!
Must say my 02 experience is certainly no where worse like yours as they have been fairly decent to me.

Hey everyone Me AGAIN!!
i just sent my new nokia n70 back to o2 so they can replace it with a new wan! the problem now is its out of stock and guess what they don't know when they getting it in again! I feel like crying, this has been the worst upgrade ever! So anyone bet i'll have a working n70 before christmas, i'm thinking no!!
I think i shall complain to o2 to say how crap they are!

Oh yes.. have tried that and tried all different combo which is possible on the phone. I also get this like red dots flashing like grid lines on the screen in that mode. I can hear the phone taking the picture but the picture just doesn't exist! (except the on the second camera)
I am not a total gizmo idiot as actually built my own pc. (well I like to think so I am not a gizmo idioit!) So I would like to think I do actually know how to work out a mobile phone camera. :) Any more suggestions? Ta for the suggestion DD!

Yo Squid, have you tried going to camera mode then select settings - choose "print" as your image quality. when it's at its best capture mode it displays 2m (2megapixel) on bottom right corner. Also if you zoom out it can't take 2mp photos.
I have this phone now for about 3 weeks and i am happy with it. I don't think the phone is that slow to do actions??.

Just got my N70 today!! After a long wait from october, a out of stock wait, i finally got it from o2, and guess what it doesnt actually work... at all i can turn it on, it loads up asks me for my sims pin number, can be entered ok, after entry the phone loads up the normal screen with the default background image, then all the buttons cease to work! and the phone is useless. So i'm heading to a o2 store first thing in the morning see if they can fix it/replace it i'm well angry/annoyed/disappointed!! Anyone else have this problem?

I just got my Nokia N70 today form o2. Not bad really since I ordered it on Saturday am and got it on Wed via DHL.
BUT...
i cannot for the life of me work out why on earth is my phone not able to take still images using the high resolution camera. It works for the video mode. The second one (which faces the caller) works both for still images and video camera.
Am i being thick or is the phone going mad?
Any ideas?? Much appreciated. Even if you lot tell me, my phone is a duff one and should be sent back to 02 for new replacement.

RE SLOW N70:- yes mate, they are incredibly slow. i got mine last week on voda, and it kept getting slower and slower. then the video calling packed up, followed by the voda live packing up. also the mp3 i set as a ringtone kept distorting and playing really slow too.then i got a call from my brother who's n70 was doing exactly the same...coincidence??
apparently there is a major software problem on them, so mine went back after 3 days.i wanted a 6280, but the release date has been put back again due to another software problem,so im going to try the sony ericsson w900i. my advice friend is, dont accept any excuses from your network, send it straight back!!

Just got the N70 a few days ago and I know i've read that it can be a bit slow, but I've noticed when going to get a new message the screen kinda freezes then everything on screen dissapears for a few seconds before opening the new message. Is this a bug or just part of the whole ''slowness'' thing?

this is a relpy from TER my friend,
firstly i am holding a 7260 it trade in price worth $200 so my 1 year has ended and it is thime to change a phone everytime u change phone once a year u pay an extra of $100 so the n70 in singapore now is $688 . my nokia 7260 trade in is $200 SO 688-200=488
then 488 plus 100 = $588 so i have to pay $588 and i am getting during christmas 2 weeks from now.OK before i buy the phone i am just wondering how long can the battery life can last.
