I really find this phone very nice and with the price dropping and everything it seems like a good deal. I was just curious about the sound of the MP3-player, is it just like listening to any MP3-player, is the sound quality great?

i'm afraid the nokia guys didn't mention in detail what they actually did to the phone. it was worked on behind closed doors while i waited at the customer lounge. i might pay them a visit again for my older phone. i'll try to make an inquiry then get back to you soonest.

my 512mb is already filled with 320mb apps, games & other stuffs...here's what i've encountered:
i am used to wake up by receiving text msgs (jokes) from my friends. 3pm the other day, my fone remains silent. when i tried to reboot it, display showed 10 msgs. why is that?
my fone is always set on General profile but today i received msgs but no ringtone was heard.
this fone really sucks unlike n6680!

The only minor quibbles about this phone I have are that the phone memory is nearer 20MB in reality than the stated 30MB, no RDS on the radio and I wish Nokias would do active displays like the Samsung or little animations when you go into the programs like Motorola, Sony Ericcson and Samsung. But as I said these are EXTREMELY minor quibbles. This phone does the best features of other phones in ONE package, it's very impressive. However I just know that an even better version is around the corner!!

only just come onto 3 this phone dont u know. not in stock as yet but i still feel the need to comment on how wonderful it is. im moving to canada in january, will it b avilable there? xxxx

right now the n70 is $495. price is quickly dropping since new Nseries phones will come out pretty soon. and the beep, i think i read it somewhere that u can get it from the net, i think i read it in a 6680 opinions, or this one. not sure. but im sure you can get it on the web.

Hi, I am also a BIG Nokia fan. I am currently looking to buy a new phone that would do everything. From best camera, best video recording quality that is not time limited like my old Nokia 6600 (9sec), radio, voice recording, and MOST important call recording. How can I use that feature without that anoying beep? However, with all the new models out there I don't know which model will capture all off these features. Please help me on this.....

thanks for your reply so it is not me alone but u also had same problem now i will update u first that I am also using 512 mb card and also I have downloaded the applications from nokian70 website so that is ok now you tell me what hardware chnages nokia people have done to your phone because my freind has nokia care now if you update me It will be helpful to me to do excately same what nokia poeple have done to your phone so please send me mail on navendus@yahoo.com with alldetails what was carried out on your phone I will be grateful

I think the N70 lacks on the features a fair bit. On the other hand you lot should look at the Telital G80. This phones camera is miles better than that on the N70 and it looks alot nicer to. I bought the N70 and traded it in for the G80. I think if the G80 had a brain it could take over the world.Its amazing i would advise everybody to buy one of these handsets.

The red key close any applications is wrong.for example..enter in contacts and push the red key button..it will transfer you to main display,but if you press and hold the menu button it will appear in left the program ''contacts''. holding the menu key for about 2-3 sec it is showing the open programs!!so not every program closed if you push the red button

nice phone but the operation very slow... slower than 6680... anyway n70 better than 6680.. have fm radio, big memory, 2m camera but no wallet...no infra-red port.. cannot transfers files with the plug and play USB port..

to navendukumar...i experienced the same problem with my unit after about a week of use. my workmate likewise had the same problem with her unit. i received calls and messages but somehow the alert tones sstopped working. since it's covered by a warranty from nokia, i took it to the nearest nokia care center (i'm in the philippines by the way) and just made a few adjustments with the hardware. it's been working perfectly ever since. it just took about 15 minutes for the nokia guys to work on it. btw, to those considering getting a higher capacity MMC card, i got a kingston 512 card and it works perfectly as well. you won't be able to transfer the applications from the original card directly though. i just downloaded the apps from the nokia support page and transferred them to my phone. it's been almost a month now and i still can't get enough of this phone. definitely worth it!

I think that N70 is a very nice phone. Am waiting for the price to drop. And I want to know, what is the biggest memory,u can put in the N70. Thank You, Please send me send information.

im having problems with my phone. i named her namsi, i find naming ur phone helps with better quality service and value! right now its not turning on... i hope for it to turn on by tommorow while i let it rest in her bed, thats right she has her own bed... well plz namsi! turn on and leave me a good morning message plz!
