Yes itrieb, but i can't figure it out whether the card is faulty, because the pc can't format it as FAT32, but it can as FAT.
Is it posible the phone to be faulty.
When imove pics from the phone to the card they sometime can't be opened or are completely missing..... With my old 6230 there were no worries at all......the good old times are past :(

Did you inserted it into your computers card reader?
If yes computer shows same problem?

After formating the memory card there is "memory card corrupted" message on the screen. I really don't know what to do.
The music player also hangs , but in my opinion it's all about the memory card. Any opinions?

I recommend this phone to anyone.Sound quality is superb.But if you a having this with FIRMWARE V2 phone will hang so you have to update the FIRMWARE V3.After that no problems.My phone also hangs with FIRMWARE V2 & I updated to V3 now I don't have any problems.

Hi all again.
I'm facing serious problem while operating the miniSD memory card. I bought 2 Gb Apacer and from the beginig there are only bugs - it says "CARD CORRUPTED" and the only option that i get is FORMAT MEMORY CARD. While working with the internal memory there are no proglems, but in fact i can't use the card at all.
My version is
V 3.0705.1.0.31

just merely 5 days and got an option to exchange it if not satisfied with it. i do wanna keep it because of it's great sound and picture quality. it's just my concern that is if i could have it updated to an ie version.

I'm enjoying my Nokia N73. I downloaded the messenger from agilemobile.com. And other applications in s60.com It works perfectely. I can check my hot mail just like my computer. I really like this cell phone. I only want to say: THANK YOU NOKIA!

Hi Volt,
Is there a real urgency for you to have mobile internet, If so then you got no choice but to get N80I or N95 (out in Singapore & France).
But, I did not fancy the N80I, phone too bulky and camera and sound only average. Theres a company that develop a miniSD cards that could have the WIFI function but sadly its only compatible to PDA. They did indicate that they are working on a card for smartphone like Nokia N series.
Give me a day or two to check on the conversion thing for you, by the way how long have u got you N73.

Just read the last few pages and u will have the answer to your question.
Also, by the way did you not hear that a lot of users also had the hanging problem rectified by firmware updates.

thanks once again. i wouldn't risk my phone and it's warranty should something goes wrong during the upgrade. perhaps, i should consider the n80??? your thoughts, feedback about this phone?

What type of phones do you want ?
There are phones that once you get to know all the functions, thats it. Then wait for the manufacturer to come out with new models with new functions.
Then there are phones that allows you to customised the functions to whatever and whenever your usage pattern changes. Not to memtioned also newer and better programs and games that are available at neck breaking speed.
Bottomline, once decided don't regret. Its only a piece of equipment.

At the present only in Taiwan and Hong Kong that the N73I are available.
Regarding the conversion to internet version, well all the hooha took place in late Dec 06 and Jan 07. Can recall any names at the moment that had their N73 converted and using them. Let me back track and check it up. Will keep you inform.
Had some business dealings on the west coast and will be visiting the East coast later this year.

thanks for the response. i'm here in the u.s. did you ever or do you know someone work on it's internet edition to their n73? i went to the link you had mentioned and would glad to hear from you if this is worth trying. are they selling the n73 internet edition in singapore?
