for font size problems, there are applications available fr that..
for torch facility using flash, there is an application named "ntorchlite" or sumthing... i guess jon has it installed..
but when i tried, it said, serial code is incorrect... so cudnt get it completekly installed..

Hi everyone {^^,}. I'm planning to buy this phone, and I just wanna ask if anyone of you guys know if the flash of this phone can be turned on even when not using the camera like does of the Sonyerricson? If not when you choose always on, does the flash is always on, i mean even when not capturing? Tnx and God Bless {^^,}

Singapore latest ver 638 France ver 649
I also mentioned different countries have different version so ver number is not indication of which is later.
Had my updated to v 638 and even without the update my camera function is superb. I would think the differences are in the hanging problem and music volume.
I got an advise from nokia staff to update the version relevant to the user country, and they may void yr warranty if phone is tampered with. So be careful as I think most of the N73 are still under warranty.

i used this phone for more than 2 months and its still pretty good..... the camera is cool, rich in functions, although no wi-fi i still lovs this phone

hi fellas nokian...
yup yup!! i experienced the same thing once... when i slide my camera cover it takes me to messaging function.. after that when i managed to go to camera but camera didnt functioning well . the camera just tilt. after restarting then its back to normal. just once i faced that probs. phew... this mini multimedia pc is really sensitive!! still i love it! mwahahas!!

to the guy said that opening camera takes him to another function ..
the solution is to RE-update your fone software ... tried and worked

Second to everyone WHY WHY play movies in the OLD LOW QUALITY BAD 3GPP FORMAT.. i play movies in DVD quality .avi format
u know how ...install Smartmovie v3.25 on the fone it comes with a convertor that convert a 700MB divx movie to just 65MB divx quality on the mobile phone in landscape format !! try it ..the quality Beats my computer !!!
i got the smartmovie form www.symbianv3.com .. but i discovered it was trial version ... so i got the program fully cracked from crack sites ....if anyone interested in this point ...just ask and i will help....how to get it fully cracked with the convertor !!!! byeeee

I Will try to post a msg about WIFI.
But i dont know very well about WIFI.
In my software(ImToo) in preference i cant see a option to volume.May be your software is the latest version.
(mine 3.1.21 build-0110b)

Some of them had to change nokia N73 product code.If anyone changing the product code the warrenty will VOID.So becareful when FIRMWARE updating.

re:jon(singapore). i've had f/w 3.0638.0.0.1 and now i have the 3.0649.0.0.1 ant there are some differences. the biggest improvement is that the camera doesn't hang anymore. the versions are not the same. in some countries it may appear later (i had to change my prod code to update and then rewrite the old one back)

Hi Users of N73 of Singapore,
Happen to passby Nokia Service centres thes past few days, noticed that a lot of N73 are there for servicing.
Just curious, is there some major issues that u like to share or is it just updating of firmware.
I do not like the service from Nokia centres, especially the way they treat our phones, they don't even bother to clean up the phone of finger print or grims. Contacted Nokia by email and they provided me an address we S'pore users can update the firmware rather than go down and waste 4hrs. The address is

The website to visit Gizmotech Computing & the manufacturer of the card is Spectec. Didn't say much, sorry can't confirm maybe u can view the site and post them a msg.
Re: ImToo3gp Volume, goto tools > preference and u can see option for volume. I tried it a little bit louder but quality not so good. Will experiment with it and will keep u posted. One thing I could manage to load the entire movie @ 125mb Size. As karaoke is still popular in Asia, I also manage to download from DVD karaoke songs by track to N73. The picture so so, but the lyrics are very clear. Sad the volume & quality not upto mark. Maybe cos' I didn't know the right way to operate the program. Would most certainly welcome any help from anyone or anywhere.

The initial posting about This WIFI card was posted by Alex, I did a check with the company seeling it, true there are such a card but not for handphone. Alex has graciously posted an apology on 12/01/07. Refer to his posting if u want to know which company and would like to keep track if such card were to come into sales for handphone one day. I repeat "@ present such card are not for usage with handphone"

If u mean WIFI N73 doesn't have WIFI
N80 has WIFI but N73 better than N80
