hy! do you know if n73 has Wireless? i want to buy a phone and i don't know what to buy - or N80 or N73. i prefer N73 because is smaller then the other one, but i don't know if it has wireless. pls help

Hi Guys,
I heard that when ever we try to take photos the phone returns to main menu, is this a common issue, is there any solution for this problem? Please reply asap.

If u need powerfull Flash buy SE K800i
Otherwise Buy N73 Because theres Symbien OS 9.1.U can install Softwars like Divx player.....ETC.

Oliver,
U can get ImToo 3GPP form DOTSIS Mobile Phone Software, under section S60 ver 9.1 zone for camera, image & video tools.
Use ImToo DVD Ripper to convert whole DVD to 3gpp format. Read help if U are not sure how to proceed.
U can ripped this to a folder before you transfer them to your N73. You can check the total size needed from the folder before u transfer.
Hope U have a great time watching your favourite movie on yr new N73.

Sorry for not getting back to u sooner.
Here in S'pore, the latest version as of today as I have check with Nokia is still :
V3.0638.0.0.1 However, my friend Lahiru from France had his updated last week is version V3.0649.0.01.
All I can tell you is that different country seen to have different version and may not means later version if number are higher. Thus I would like to advise U to go online to Nokia website and email them your questions and get them to give U the address for you to log onto to upgrade your phone through your own computer. They gave me the address and I've tried it and after confirm no update for my N73 here.
I also think (my observation) N73 and N73ME has the same version.
Hope this help in some way.

About 3gpp, is this something I can download from a website (which one?). Do I then insert my DVD into the computer, and start the 3gpp software which will convert the movie to 3gpp? Then what...is it then stored onto the N73 so that I can play it? For a 2 hr DVD movie, how many MB or GB space do I need to have?

There is already a real player for playing moive or video clip bundled together with N73.
Just convert your movie to 3gpp format and play it on the phone. I could convert a whole VCD/DVD show using this method and played on N73 smoothly.

yes.. i too, have this problem about the screen turning to the main menu or the main screen. when i need to take photo fast it really irks me.. anyway, i am wondering any of u guy s have fondo player or any player that can play smart movies in n73. cos i realli want to store movies in my fone as its realli cool=)

Hi Everyone
I need urgent advise if someone could let me know. I recently updated my firmware to the latest, check it and confirmed the latest by Nokia website.
All the initial problems of the phone shutting down had been resolved. Then 3 weeks ago, my phone went funky again, when I want to take a picture, the page changes to another page like messages, or the main menu page then switches back to the screen ready for taking pics, this problem is intermitent.
Imagine when you shift open the cover to take a picture and it suddenly changes to another feature screen, most frustrating.
HELP HELP!!

Hi guys..i have an N73 ME.Its a gud mobile...but it is a little slow..
i find that all of ur problems have been solved by the software upgradation..
well, my version is V 3.0638.0.0.1 but it is Music edition..
can i upgrade it to V 3.0649.0.0.1 ?? i guess that is the latest version..
im from india and so i dont get much support from nokia care..
jon, since u r from singapore, can u help me out..??
is software upgradation from V 3.0638.0.0.1 to V 3.0649.0.0.1 valid for n73 music edition also..??

I find the phone to be very complicated. I was using the Nokia 6234 and this is a very simple phone with nice soft keypads. I am struggling to delete the contacts on the phone memory. Please help.

one more suggestion before you bring them for repair or update. Key in *#0000# to see yr software version so u can know did they really update the software.

Your phone are still new if U think and observe that they are not working properly, the most logical step to take is to bring them back to Nokia Centre and have them fixed it. Be it software updates or other technical faults. They may in special event give a one on one exchange.
If you fiddles with yr phone they may find this as an excuse to blame u for the fault and no exchange permitted except to so call repair them.
Think carefully before action. Just a suggestion.

Hi guys..well i hav an N73 ME.its a nice mobile...but a little slow...

coz its version is
