Just bought the software to upgrade to the musical express n73 if it works i will let everyone know,hope it does it will save me waiting for the ME.N73 in the u.k

thanks for that have you seen the seller on ebay giving info about upgrading the software to the music edition and the latest firmware. £10 and he gives the info where to get the upgrades. i'm just wondering if it's worth a pop.

need clarification
what does upgrading from N73 to N73ME really changes. was told N73ME has a extra key for the music player. Does this upgrade incorporate all the features of N73ME

Changing the Front Fascia is easy just have a credit card to help you an just lift up the corner part near the number 9 buttons an put your card under it then slowly easy up the front fascia it comes off easily,the back part is the hardest part you can see the six screws to easily undo but theres one screw under the screen so i did not do this myself i sent to the nokia service centre an they did it for me,the fascia off Ebay are superb an theres one seller offering black buttons with the full fascia in Black an buy off this seller,in Black the N73 looks Superb

I got the n73ME copule days back. it's 44mb ram, 23.5mb on boot up. music player's always in background like the 91. Anyway.. it's 201 mhz. it's not bad. it's very acceptable, speed wise. although.. i got an e50 with 229mhz and it's speed is noticably quicker.. a little. and hold on.. n73ME FW is differnet from the regular. it's

hello everybody, i downloaded NSU(Nokia Software Updater) about 16 MB, then installed it, then it prompted me to connect to the internet to download a size of 20 MB, but as it reaches 0.2 MB the software terminates, anyone faced that before??

ey guys I would like to ask
how fast is the n73? I mean how much speed does it's processor have?
220 mhz? or is it about 300mhz already?
and can you turn off the flash when taking pics and videos?

I'm from Spore..Hope to give some frank reviews on my latest purchase of N73. Prior to this phone, I bought K800i (still keeping it!) and I must say it gives superb pleasing picture quality to the eye, the software is stable and it's a hassle free phone if u're someone who needs a phone to work its basic function (But I do wanna mention that at times the screen will just black out after a few seconds at any point in time..just a push of joystick brings it back again- abit irritating sometimes..), However,it lacks the front screen display of calendar functions which I have always like it on nokia symbian phones. Upon using it for about two weeks, I noticed the phone started to slow down, may hang upon accessing to gallery and even switching among applications. Take note that I don't download unncessary applications to the phone, in fact I only download those payable ones from nokia software market. Regardless, the phone is still slowing down.. Thus, I downloaded the nokia software update at home and was crossing my finger that my N73 won't die on me in the process of updating!, infact it's easy to do and just follow the steps, anyone could do it. ;) No need for the hassle to bring it to nokia care centre for them to assist updating, not to mention the waiting time..Now, my phone works perfectly and it's so much faster than before and accessing in and out of gallery doesn't hang the phone anymore. So I suggest, for those who are going to get this phone, see if u can the software version:

how easy is it to change the covers on the phone mate, i really like the n73 in black but i don't think i could get one off nokia at the moment. are the ones off ebay decent quality?
anyway, had my n73 for 6 weeks now and apart from 2-3 restarts (only while texting) it's been superb i can't fault the features or the speed of the software. i really like it nice one nokia.

comes with 2GB
cool green theme
software is really fast like its not symbian
firmware is up to date
surround sound is great

I've had my N73 for a month now. And I've got to say it's a great phone. It isn't perfect of course, but it has been satisfactory.
No problems with the joystick for me. Works fine. Camera lens cover is still working tightly. I guess the physical aspect of the phone is still in top condition.
The slowness of the phone is an irritation however. Especially when it comes to the camera and picture/video gallery. There's a new firmware available that is said to enable faster processing, yet to download that. So I hope that would at least make it less slow.

to all,
using a 1gb or 2gb memory card wont affect your n73's performance. as with oki i also placed my music files from my ipod nano to my phone with a 1gb memory card and the phone still works fine.
