the N73 doesn´t support A2DP (=stereo bluetooth support) so you just have to live with the normal headset.

well well well, Really The Phone is greaaaaaaaaaat....coz i've used many symbian phones but this is the really nice cell phone i have ever had.....the camera totally ROXX....
but there are some disadvantages...
we cannot turn the flash off and nither the camera sound...does any body knows how to .. ?

facing one prob. Fone is connected to pc, and pc is connected to fone, wht when I want to send anything from the fone to pc fone is finding the bluetooth device and says that "there is no bluetooth device connected" .....but the fone is connected to the pc and it confirms its connection. how to solve this? thanx

hi.i have just bought a nokia n73 and also a bluetooth headset nokia modle Bh 501.I tried using the headset to listen to music but it sucks.it sounds mono without any bass whatsoever.i tried the euqualizer but it still doesn't work.Using the original headset given to me is better.i tried the headset on Sek800 and even a thai model hp imobile 902 n the results are fantastic.the music is really great.What i want to know is how do i make the sound better for the bluetooth headset?is there any problems with the software or is it the bluetooth headset?i tried installing power mp3 but it sucks even more.Please help me on this matter.Thank u.

1. Where can I get add-on software for my Nokia phone?

2. Can I update my phone's firmware?

4. I went to the support section on the Nokia website but could not seem to get past the PC Suite introduction screen. It contains information on the PC Suite, however I was unable to download the PC Suite application. What am I doing wrong?
It seems that your browser is lacking a certain component in order to proceed with the download. Your internet browser should have MacroMedia Flash Plug-in installed to enable you to view the download wizard on the page. In some PC setups and depending on connection speeds, it may take a while for the Flash module to load. Kindly wait for it to load. The download will proceed shortly after that. Otherwise you may try to download and install the Flash plug-in first before proceeding.
5. How do I set automatic keypad lock for my Series 60 phones?
Please follow these steps:
Tools > Settings > Security > Phone and SIM > Auto lock period > User defined > Set delay time > enter Lock code. (The default Lock code is 12345) > OK
6. How do I add thumbnail image to a contact profile on my Series 60 phones?
To have thumbnail image of the caller displayed during incoming call, go to Contacts, highlight the desired contact name > Options > Edit > Options > Add Thumbnail > choose a picture from the list.
7. How do I activate or deactivate the operator logo on my Nokia phone?
This is a network service. If supported by your service provider, you can choose whether the display shows the operator logo when the phone is in standby mode.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Display settings > Operator logo
2. Select "On" to show the logo or "Off" to hide the logo.

Good phone, but look atentively at the corners of the photos taken by his camera, only central part is good, may be not at all photos.

qnes: hey... can i ask tt if i dont install any program in N73, will it still hangs and lag?
another thing is does it realli takes a long time to save the photos taken?

take long to save pics? Dun get ya…..there is a little lag when you start the camera…that’s abt it…..nt a big issue…..dun install programs, cuts you away from risk of mobile malware / virus…..but hangs and lags are bound to hap at times I guess …..we juz need to upgrade the firmware nw n then etc i guess...

comment: if the N73 Music Edition still has not been released when the 7390 is released, I am going to buy 7390 instead. Sick of waiting!
7390 specs are nice, but it is designed more for gers. Seen the ph already…....speakers on top and bottom when you flip open the phone...looks cool...but it is S40 phone...screen a little small...

qnes: hi.. i dunno is it my phone or me.. y can't i put mp3 as my message alert tone while i'm only limited to the default tones i have in the phone
it is definitely you then…hahaha…..i can use mp3, wma as ringtone, message tone, alarm tones n all…no probs at all....i even edit my own collection of mp3 and use it as ringtone, message tone, alarm tones etc........

qnes: Someone mentioned anti virus built in the N73. If you download a file it would scan for virus? How does the phone inform you, via a pop up window?
When you install any sis, sisx, jad/jar files, even if it is a freeware, it will still have a warning alert saying application is insecure etc etc……nah, it will not auto scan for virus…..at least not that I know after using for so long………

qnes: Does anyone know where to download free software to convert WMV to 3gp files?
Try http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html should work, though I did not try wmv files…….kinda complex to use at the beginning, but easy to get the hang of it. I am using it to convert flv videos from You Tube to 3gp formats and watch on N73.

N73 black music edition comes with 2G minisd, audio adapter ( guess to plug and connect to hi fi, speakers etc )......

qnes: when it's dark, the camera pic quality is not that good.. any opinion why is it like that?
ans: N73 only has integrated flash for short distances, never tried it, but guess need to set to night mode, might work well.

Auto Lock is a freeware. Install via bluetooth, works fantastic for me. Anything other than freewares, and you would need warez, which is abundant on the net as well.

hey there....i just got this phone last week...it's really great to have this phone...but there is some prob like slow sms sending...i will fix it by sms accelerator...i hope it can help.
