Can you use the gps when you are out running or walking and see how far and where you have runned?

Here's my +'s and -'s of the N78 after nearly 2 weeks of ownership. Bearing in mind i've also at some point owned the n95, n95 8gb, n70, n73 and n85.
PLUS
screen is superb
music player is as good as i've had in a phone
radio reception is first class rds is a massive +
fm transmitter works very well
the whole phone looks really smart
loads of themes and games available for customizing
can take 8gb card which works very well
3.5mm earphone socket
battery life is really good
gimmicky navi wheel works rather well
MINUS
Build quality is ZERO my back cover moves not only up and down but from side to side and in and out SHOCKING!!!!
keypad is fine but it creaks and groans like an oak tree in a hurricane
camera is not the best imo not as good as the n73
operating system is very slow in comparision to other Nseries phones i have owned it badly needs a firmware upgrade to speed it up
This could have been a massive phone for Nokia but is let down by shoddy build quality!!!! NOKIA WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT! there is no need for bad quality for such a high price.
for a few more weeks to see how it goes and see if the creaks and groans dissapear and i'll find a solution myself for the unforgiveably loose backplate. If it doesn't it's going to ebay and i'll get something else.

thanks Anonymous for informing. But i dont understand why it will lag while playing 3pg? how about mp4 or realmedia? im going to buy this phone soon so i would like to know that and comfirm everything. Does it sound quality good? and can it really plays n-gage games? how about the 3.2mp quality on this phone? how about the keypard also? and can you give me a conclusion? thanks!

Right,
Had my n78 for just over a week and here's what ive found do far
pro's
Music player is spot on
radio's reception is very very good
3.5mm audio jack
screen is first class
the phone itself looks cool
con's
Build quality is totaly shit!!! no other word for it so make no apologies, my back cover not only moves up and down but bloody side to side and in and out. It creaks and groans when pushing the buttons on the front!!!! NOKIA WTF ARE YOU PLAYING AT!
camera is none to impressive.
i've had n95, n95 8gb, n82 and my trusty n73 and this no matter what anyone say is the slowest symbian phone i've ever had and that includes the n70!!!!
i really wanted to love this phone and do to a certain degree but it could have been so much more with a bit of thought and quality control.
WAKE UP NOKIA if you don't get a grip of the build quality you'll lose custom there's no need for such a poor build!

on a side it has all the possible features you can think of
3.2 mp autofocus camera with flash, 3.5G, very sexy mysterious design, bluetooth, faster symbian than other nokia phones, Wlan, Nice FM transmitter, very good signal, very good battery life [3~4 days], nice sound quality, GPS navigator, a very new handy standby theme, supports up to 8 gb memory card N-GAGE support and playing Asphalt with its navi wheel is great!!!!
on the other side its performance is a little bit lagging cause like u know it is a whole new software!!
it cannot play videos 3gp well, it lags, mpg will work with coreplayer! it records videos at 15fps only!!!! some problems with Photos and zooming!!
So it is up to u to decide
And like u know Nokia will soon release new firmware so will fix it!!

do u know who is the owner of this WiFi
maybe he downloads lots of thing that u cannot navigate on the web
or maybe u are far and the signal is weak so the phone cannot send or receive any data!!
so
go to a restaurant or any place with wifi and connect to it!!!

Well. It's a nice fone but i cant fix the sleep mode at all...N i got trouble with the battery..Anyone got that kinda problem???

what I have to do is just sit down in a hotspot
open the web browser
then I have to choose an active WLAN
finally I surf to the internet
just thats it
I dont think about the IP at all
