Nokia fans in the Philippines!!!
So n78 would approximately cost 24-27k on it's first landing on Philippine Shore. When do you think will it cost less than 14k??

I got this fone 5 days back.
the plastic and the looks are great.
display is excellent.
Was using Sony Ericson m600 previously.
music and earfones are best in m600. (SE w300 was one of the best which I score it at 98%)
if m600 scores 95% for music and earfones
then n78 stands on 85%.
3.5mm audio out jack is a boon for n78. though it misses av-out (there is a different story about fm transmitter)
the remote and the earfones in the package are good and they do their job.
the remote looks great and does a better job.
connect the remote out (3.5mm audio out jack) to the car line-in in the front panel and u will find no need for a car kit (for managing calls and not for charging). one of the features I would rate the best in this fone (or the car head unit with front aux or av in)
Home media server works good and itz fun to work with it.
Navy-wheel is a good ad-on. Works only in the multimedia menus. No clue of where it would work and where not is a flaw. If made work every where then it could extend the life of the d-pad.
D-pad is too sensitive (as mentioned in gsmarena review) and its good.
Position of the end-call key is a bit awkward. Once acquainted – no flaws about it.
GPS is good (i have no comparison may be so...) turn by turn navigation is free for 3 months and its really one good thing that u might want this fone for. (6220 6 months free navigation but not with wlan and other features which is not so good in n78)
ONE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT FOR INDIAN BUYERS.
Indians beware that n78 sold in India DOESNT HAVE FM TRANSMITTER. salesmen have no idea about it (or they pretend) and they would think we mean the FM radio. Was never informed about this fact until the third day of exploring the fone myself.
Had used 3 motorolas so far. motos are best in ring tones and loudspeakers (3d or wat so ever)
The quality of speakers in n78 are very poor, ring tones are not loud enuf and the quality sucks. 3d ring tone is just a fancy ad-on and it works but not effective. m600 did a better job with a mono speaker. motos are the best.
setting up of wlan and ip configs in n78 is one big story. the ip addresses are not consistently stored. they are reset to automatic adressing randomly or...dont know wat so ever.
Multi tasking and multiple browsing functions were the best in m600. browsing in a touch screen is an awesome experience in m600 (better than a pc or laptop). Touch the link u find on the touch screen and it opens in a new window.
Browsing experience in N78 is nowhere near the m600.
The buttons in N78 are meant for the looks and it does its job. if u r too much typy messaging and browsing then its not the design meant for u. Itz just meant for the looks (dont take a closer look and make urself more disappointed its meant to fool others looking in ur hands (the envy) and so its perect)
PCsuite should connect via wlan - which is not the current case.
battery drains down within 10 hours if not managed properly. multi-tasking wlan, gprs and music player on speakers drains the battery in less than 4 hours.
Had issues with m600 touch screen and got nokia 6300 fone which was flawless in any and all means its meant for. So planned to stick with Nokia. Now I regret.

I am using N78 for last 5days. It is a very good phone. Batt. backup is very good. Loud enough with 3D sound. Camera is awesome.FM transmitter is working well. Nothing to say adverse.

If u like n78 en have a plan to get it now its the time cos the price jump down to at least Rp.3,4 mio in Indonesia, i read it in a leading tabloid price list in Jakarta, pls check to ur local shop, Happy Ramadan folks.

at that time being nothing is better than n82
but after a little while they will realase the n79 and n85 and they will surely upgrade n78 frimeware because of realplayer problems
so my advice 2 u is to wait til chrismasth for reviews!!
Any way if u bought any phone now n82 n81 n78. . . U WILL REGRET IT belive me!

it doesn't play them correctly and cannot stream videos !!!!!!!
