Is the GPS free for use in N78? I read from somewhere & it was stated only license for 14 days.

Can anyone confirm with credible source?

E65 has a much lower processor: 220 MHz, this differs with me.

What bad for you might be good for me! And what's good for you maybe bad for me!

Do we all run after the same girl! No, why? Because we got different tastes, criterea and interests for god's sakes!

ganu, 01 Jun 2008i dont think that we should comapre N82 with N78 N82 is b... moreActually, there is no phone better than another, because it all depend on the person, not the phone.

        To me,
        i don't need a xenon flash,
        i don't need a 5 MPx,
        i don't need a motion sensor,
        i don't want a 3D accelerator, i am a hardcore gamer, mobile games won't satisfy me,
i don't care about the RAM since the mobile's performance is excellent,
100 MB of memory are not so different from 70 since there is a microSD,
TV-Output might be useful for me, but indeed, battery life is much more vital to me,
to me N82 is not good looking, N78 is much better.

So all in all, i just traded TV-Output for battery life, not only that, but N78 is cheaper (when it drops further it will be cheaper than N82), so definitely N78 is the best for me!

There is no "Best" mobile... People are different, that's why "surprisingly" mobile phones are different.

With price set aside, people who are torn between N78 and N82, you should consider this: N78 main focus is the software, it has a revamped, improved user interface. On the other hand, N82's main focus is the hardware i.e. 5MP Carl Zeiss-branded camera lens, accelerometer/motio sensor, dual processor, 3D graphics engine, etc.

              I don't like the N78. It's cheap-looking. I'd wait for the N95 8Gb's price to drop down.

Hey... Does anyone know if the volume of the loudspeaker is very soft? i presently own a sony ericsson k800i and find my phone volume very soft. Is the volume of the loudspeakers very soft on the n78? is it as loud as the n73? is the sound quality good from the loudspeakers? i find the quality of sound from my k800i to be average only. thanks in advance. is the camera better than my k800i? k800i has a xenon flash though, without the xenon flash, is the camera performance still acceptable for night photos?

N78 also has 16.7million colours, all the newer Nseries do.
The N78 will have a longer battery life, better and faster user interface, better sound quality, better loud speakers, better smaller design, touchsensetive navi-wheel for faster scrolling, FM Transmitter, newer OS, better screen, better Java engine, newer Web browser etc. . . Than N82. The N78 is going to be one great Multimedia Computer, it's on par with the N82 in the JBENCHMARK scores. Cant wait to get my N78 in July =)

Except camera it is lower model than Nokia E51. E51 has Class 32 GPRS and N78 has only Class 11 GPRS. That too N78 has only 70 MB of internal memory which makes one think it is a xerox of Nokia E65. Lol lol lol.

Here in kenya, the n78 just came out, but its price is at 450 euros. The n82 is going 4 380 euros. Im sory, but as much as i wanted the n78, i will have to settle for the n82.

The N82 seems much better and N78 is more expensive. Recent N95-1 prices are on par with the release price of the N78.

I doubt this phone will sell well if it's MUCH mer expensive than N82.
