If the phone was based on s40 platform i get it for sure
but why nokia makes only symbian phones?
i hate it so much!!

based on the pictures, the numeric "buttons" are actually 3 sticks right?i have very long nails, and i'm afraid i might scratch or wear them out..and then there r those other keys, the send, end, left and right selection, the menu key and the cancel keys are all a single monolith plastic..so u'll just be pressing that piece of plastic and it'll just tilt and sink down to where ever ur pressing..thats not good right? If the built quality is not good, that peice of plastic might come off(maybe)..anyway, i'm eyeing this gem of a phone! hope gsmarena can review more of its built quality and sound quality compared to n81, N82 as soon as it comes out..

its not too good similar to n81 key pad is not at all good good for nothing

when you're on a plane? nothing...FM frequencies generally wouldn't effect anything on a plane. but i'm sure whoever is sitting next to you would hate you for doing it...

That's because what you want, doesn't exist in this model! Why should anyone expect this mobile to be better than an n82 or 80 or 81? Nothing is absolutely better than the other! Ppl got priorities when buying phones! They can easily sacrifice things in favor of others! I would sacrifice a xenon flash and a 2 additional MPx, and a 15 fps video for a 250 mah more! Yes i would do that! I don't mind! Do all nokia models have to fit you ll? Or fit your taste? Or your priorities?
HELL NO! And when does it say, that a new phone has to be better than all others? So stop being so incredibly narrow minded!

This is a complete little piece of device, This is why nokia always ahead to others competitors. Even though most nokia's are USB (ugly s..t brick).

I love Nokia Nseries for they seem to be the best set of phones.
I have been a user of S60 phones right from the S60 version 1 OS6 N-gage please Nokia let your next S60 phone have a touch screen, xenon flash also make it a good phone from the start which won't be hungry for RAM and include a good battery life
At present a use N95 8GB and N81 8GB

My Nokia N82 is much better than this phone!!! first of all the N82 design is much better than this phone N78 bec. N78 is just basic simple design!!!

gps is free with nokia maps, because the maps are installed directly on your memory card, so no data needs to be transfered. but if you prefer to use a 3rd party application like google maps, you will need a data connection and it will cost money.

the FM transmitter allows you to wirelessly stream the music on your phone to any FM radio. you'll be able to choose a frequency on the phone, set the radio to that station, and listen to your music on it. perfect for driving!
