my n78 is great..audio is natural..camera is ok..at least theres autofocus..keypads are cool..love it all in all..mine is v20.149..doesnt lag even..overall,cool!!!!

N78 "Photos" application is slow, laggy, it mix all the picture about 7,000+ that I copy from pc to memory card, I will hard to find the specify picture that I want in "Photos"...some more photo quality viewing in "Photos" is noisy.
- Prefer Resco with smooth, quality and fast rendering speed.
Real Player buggy, sometime will hand during the video but sound.
Music Player's quality is excellent with da decoder!

I'm having the N78 for 3 months now. Everyday I love it more. The right menu button gave did not always work, but after a firmware upgrade it works perfectly well. the battery last me 1 full week with calls.You get use to the funny keypad after a few minutes. Some people think I'm having a touch phone. I would recommend the N78 anytime!!

Mates,I have a problem about navigation key pad.Whenever I hit any navigation key,e-g,the down key,it it downth for a while and then relax my thumb,it wont move down and en it gets worse in a Web page.When I checwould move in that way,thats all right but when I press k the same thing,it just keeps moving down unless I hit any other key.I think dust particles hav gone inside.What Do all of you reckon?What could I do to overcome this problem?

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2009How is the music quality of this phone??The music quality is pretty good. If you plug in to your sound system or computer speakers then its good but still little bit far behind from ipods' quality. If you have a good pair of headphones then the quality is better than ipod at most points! I use sony ex 55 headphones! Make sure you turn "loudness" and "Stereo widening" on when listening through earphones

1) call are not stereo so only 1 speaker works same on mine!
2) Im struggling with that too! It will be fixed hopefully!
3) Never tried that, but assuming its a bug!
Do you have N78-3 or just N78?

In my 2 day old new N78, i find that the incoming call voice is very feeble. By increasing the volume by the up-down switch does not help very much. Also the ring the the other end is very feeble. Can someone guide me to improve the VOLUME for the above two cases ?

Hi all,
I jz got a new N78 yesterday and need some experts to help resolve the below issue:
1) When turn on loudspeaker during voice/video call, only upper right speaker can function. Lower left speaker is not functioning. Is this normal?
2) The camera flash light still on even I have turn off the flash light when taking photo. How to turn off the flash light?
3) The loudspeaker will malfunction once FM transmiter is used. Need to restart the phone then resolve. Is this fixable or bugs?

This happened to me too. I sent it in, and they fixed it.
Until it was fixed, I couldn't switch to Loudspeaker once a call was connected.
I think that's because the audio of the caller's voice was being routed through the broken (upper right) speaker. That speaker is very near the zoom/volume buttons, so someone (me?) must have pressed in thru the speaker grill when trying to zoom/change the volume, and disconnected its lead wires or pushed in its cone.

Hati, 29 Mar 2009I'm searching for Nokia phone with GOOD audio quality but c... moreI have had my N78-3 (US version) for about a month now, and the music player is one of my favorite parts. The camera just got a lot better (more lively colors) since I washed off the camera lens! I only noticed this because I took a shot of me and my lady with the 2nd (smaller) camera on the subway last night, and the colors were not so washed out. So I realized that the (bigger) camera wasn't color or focus deficient - it just needed a clean path to the picture!
The buttons really take some getting used to, and are still not perfect. I wish I had the N86's buttons, but that's more expensive and not released yet. Other than that, I miss the extra screen size (the N78 is 2.4", but others are bigger.)
Every once in a while it reboots itself, and I'm still learning to use the number buttons to zoom, etc. in the Browser. So it's a good phone, and if you get a good price (if price matters to you) you will be happy with the wi-fi, the music, the camera (good videos too!) and maybe the GPS.
