this phone has a perfect batery my phone standby is 6 days,,also with calling its stand 4 days.
I'm very satisfied from this phone and y think that y never exchange it.

for all who doesnt know what symbian can do, those files like .wma .divx .flv and others, there are lot of applications that can read this files. just install it on your symbian fone. more info at dotsis.com..

This phone has very good specs, but did they really have to make the keypad so #$%^ small? I don't have big fingers at all and I SUFFER to use the keypad. Changing the shortcut bar seems next to impossible too. Think twice before getting this phone.

just bought it for 13.5k gr8 phone i must say.. camera is gud.. i juz wanted to say thanks to gsm arena for providing me wid all the knowledge thnx alot

I modified my battery with methods which provide by forum user there are no "V" shape beside my "Hologram" sticked battery, it is straight line. Possible not genuine? Will also genuine shown 1200mAh battery capacity in Nokia Energy Profiler? Scary...>

The battery capacity written on battery is 1200mAh
but energy profiler says that it is 832 mAh, sometimes it shows 826
i consulted with Nokia Care and warranty provider
they both said that it seems that shop keeper has opened the box and relcaed original battery with the faulty battery. but they both cant do anything because warranty is only for cell phone, and not for accessories
but it was a poor reply, because in this acse every shop keeper can do that and no check on it by nokia or local warranty supplier
they advised me to get genuice battery from them at $ 15
what u epople advise me

I want to ask about Nokia Energy Profiler, the battery capacity shown in your phone is it 1200mAh? or 860mAh? Not fixed.

and if standby the and just few calls then it lasts for like 6 to 8 hrs
i am so much depressed because of this situation

why nokia is providing faulty batteries with brand new handsets. it is so shame

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2009does n78 has auto rotate accelometer?pls reply It doesnt, and sometimes the video player doesnt work properly. I had it for 4 month, now its 130$ cheaper than i bought it for. For me its a good phone, i put in a 2gig flash card, downloaded games, pictures, music. The camerais OK, well not as in n96 or the 8 megapixel in the Samsung Memoir, but still good. I bought it unlocked so that now i can use it in most countries, but if you have a plan with T-mobile, and dont need to use it in a different nation than look at Samsung Memoir. Its touch screen, and has a great camera. Or blackbery storm, i phone 3g, google g1.
