As you might know the N79 NAM comes with the TV... moreHey dude actually i live in mumbai......rite nw i m using nokia 5610 xpressmusic.....but wherever i went na evry1 told me dat in new n79 thr isnt ne tv out function....i flabbergasted hearing such statement....as hw cud nokia remove such a gud feature....and rite nw my bankbalnce allows me uptill n79 only....and it has lots of features so i m planning to purchase it within 2-3 days......thanx a lot for informing me buddy......

I'm using V20 firmware and when I try to update it says that I have the latest firmware, so you might try to use Nokia Software Updater in your PC or wait till the new firmware is released in your country.

Vikarm Toor, 15 Aug 2009Can any1 tel abt n79 battery backup ???? I recently bought my N79 so I use it a lot, in fact I'm using it to post all this answers here! So I have to charge it once a day but remember that I'm using it all day, so I'd say that is a good battery life.

Shivasri, 15 Aug 2009how about the availablity of Nokia N79 NAM in India.? will ... moreI think that you'll only find over there the Euro-asian variant, because of the 3G networks in asia are 900/2100, and in America are 850/1900. So probably there must be very hard to find the NAM version in India.

Hello guys..I need ur help..Recently Nokia launched new version of the software for n79. its version 30...Mine is 11.049 only...there s an option in the nokia website which tells us whether we need an update or not. We need to type our device's product code. It will tell us the latest version of the software available. Though version 30 is released and mine is ver 11, its saying that latest version 4 my mob is 11.049 which I already have.
Can I download the latest software and update my mob? Whether any problems will arise?

Hello friends..
i 've just got new N79..
my problem ..
when i receive new songs via blutooth they are saved on phone memory ( which is only 80 Mbs ) and how much i searched ddnt get to know how to change the setting to save received songs on the ( 4 GBs memory card )
anyone may help?
and how to add the memory card icon to gallery folders so that its easier to move songs applications and whatever !

The bass quality is acceptable, but the thing is that you MUST buy a headset to really enjoy the bass quality because the one that comes with the N79 is very bad. I'm using a Sony Ericsson headset and the bass quality is so much better with them. I haven't used the camera so much so I'll have to try it a little more.. But don't expect N82 like photo quality.

1. Does the N79 has a loud enough bass to satisfy people that would love to hear considerable amount of bass on the headset? My N82 became really bassy after upgrading to its v.30.0.019 firmware so I am wondering. How about the N79? Can the bass be really audible?
Please please.. I need real answers from real N79 owners like you. I just want to be ready for my purchase. Please.

I live in Honduras so I bought the N79-3 or also known as N79 NAM which is compatible with the 3G networks of my country, this is the only version that comes with the tv out cable. All the N79's have that function but maybe you'll need to buy the Tv out cable separately. If anyone has more questions just ask me :)

As you might know the N79 NAM comes with the TV out cable, and yes I've tried that function to play some ngage games and browse the internet using Skyfire browser, it was very cool! Also I've played videos using the TV out cable, and the N79 played them fluid. So that's my experience with the TV Out function. Hope I helped you.
