hey i'm having trouble with my n79, i can't find out my firmware version even with *#0000#. I have a seal grey version and the nokia maps doesnt support walk to guidance for the US where i am located.a

Also ... moreyes you are right, im trying to find the nokia update for the n79 but there is no official update from nokia. only other websites are talking about the update without proof. did you try to update it using the update manager from nokia? I havent tried it yet, and i dont think i will update my phone yet, im happy with the way it is.

And also i thin... moreThe problem is that they released the Black N82 near the time when they released N78, this moved everyone from something outdated to something new, as it's the same with new cars. But if they had the Black N82 from the first day the N82 got released, im sure it would've been very well done. And about the other colors that come with the N79, just used the black or the dark colors, they look okay.

DON'T BUY THIS PHONE! key pads are hard to press. especially the 4-way navi key. very difficult to type sms. and the numbers on the keypad are hard to see even indoor. the phone doesn't charge via usb. camera performance also is not so great. just a little better than average phones. i would use it only for emergency purposes. It can never replace the digital camera. i sold the phone and bought moto v9 and couldn't be happier. it can charge the battery via usb (yesss!). it feels more solid and responsive. camera phone is not important for me since i just bought 14MP canon ixus.

now i can say after buying n79 that it is better than n82 ,n95 ,n73,n85 it is the best phone in all n series because it is all excellent in every thing :. finland made ,very good camera ,very good sound quality ,instant response ,huge battery life,very small .very light...and many other good features.

the call
i have problem .. this problem appear when i make a call or receive a call i heard the second party not clearly from the main speaker and in the same time i heard the call very very very clearly from the side speakers specially on the top speaker ( i think that because it place beside the main speaker ) is this normally ?? or i have factory problem in my device ??

Also i have found not a single clue that the v 11.049 or any v11 firmware really exist. many websites have post about new firm. but they do not have a proof. Thanks

I have N79 seal gray.
The red cover is great and pretty fit.
But the brown and white covers are not completely fit and when I press menu button or the keys on the left, the cover creaks.
It is soooo annoying.
Is the same for anyone else?
