The Bads:
1. The auto-rotation som... more1. i have found a cure for the ultra sensitivity of auto rotation!it does nt rotate unntil u rotate the phone ad giv a bit of jerk!(only a smalll bit)so if donot want rotation then donot jerk the phone!(i know its tough!but it helps!
2.for the naviwheel try to rotate the full wheel in 2 seconds!thats the perfect speed i have found!9i know i am sounding lyk a geek!but i just love n79!)
3. & 4. never happend with me!it have been five days!esp for repeating of songs!i always repeat a song until i get bored!so its like 20 times in a row! but never has it got stuck or had problem!and the videos are always there!whenever i click opne it starts smoothly!one must see the quality of the videos to bel;ieve!its just awesome!
and guys i was searching for the themes and i was b;essed by this website!

SECONDLY YES THE BASS CAN BE PRODUCED BY SETTING UP EQUALISER!
thirdly the phone is as loud at ring tone as it is in mp3! may be a bit more loud!but it depends upon the files u r using for ringtones!most of the time i am just usind the full mp3 as ring tones!there is an option for 3d tones!and if you set the trajectory right then the result is quite satisfactory!

Yes, the nokia n79's dual LED's can be used as a torch. They are extremely bright, bright enough to light up a whole room

and the looks is not like any nseries!it has thrown away the ugliness and bulkiness of nseries!(actually i used to have nightmares about the looks of n82!)
the set is the slimmest the best looking of nseries!the music is awesome! pic quality is great and dont talk about the chargew! just read my previous post in this or the previous page! u will find that it is a true combination of beauty and d beast!! i recommend to buy this!

This is what Nseries should have been.
Forget other past Nphones and get it.

2. The Navi Wheel is way much sensitive
3. When a song in repeat only mode, the songs stops after played it back for 2-3 times (that happens rarely)
4. The real player shows videos blank (rarely)

1. It did for me too.
4. I use www.ownskins.com and create my own themes there. The themes came preinstalled with the N79 are very lively, youthful and gorgeous.

2. The bass is deeper, rich. I only have to tweak the left-most bar of my own preset (treble and bass) to 5.
3. The oomph is gorgeous.
The phone is as fast as the N82. At night good shots could be taken well with the two led flash, but its tricky.

Thanks Zaheed, it helps alot. I had the n81 and sold it after a week, because it played so softly through the music player for some odd reason. Now i am back with my old 6233 which loudspeakers are from the heavens, loud, clear and bassy. Now i want to buy the n79. Two last questions, wil it help to adjust the eqeulizer sothat it has more bass or is it more a hardware problem? Does it play loud through the music player or loud through its ringtones, because my previous n81 played only loud through the ringtones? Thanks alot for your help.

ihave 4 question for my fellow n79 users!
1. i cant watch youtube (pc version)it says upgrade your flash player!but mine is flashlite 3!so it can play those!and in mobile youtube my real player connect nd always say 0%loaded!whats the problem(btw i use wifi as a connection)!what's the problem?
2.i have tried to install mobitubia and emtube but in both cases it says licencse expired!is there any specific softwares for n79(i mean s60,6.3?)?
3.when afile is being downloaded i cant see its downloading speed!what can i do?
and finally!
4.tell me some good themes site for 79!because all the themes i download(thought they are stated in the website as 9.3 themes)shows license expirted!whats up with that?

Stefanus, 14 Nov 2008How is the n79s loudspeakers, is it loud while playing musi... morewell the loud speaker does justice to it's name!it loud,very loud!the sound is preety clear!and the trajectory (if set right) does good job!there are some minor tweaks needed to enhanche the performance;as most of the sound coming out of it is treble!nokia still needs to work on tru bass producing speaker phoones!
but in the head phone the whole story changes!n79 shows its true colour!it's abeast in producing great quality sound!use a good head phone(i use BOSE in-ear and you are going to kick away your ipod!

I am sorry AUSSEE for late reply but all Nokia phones especially high tear ones now a days cant be used by default but some low tear ones like 1100 1200 1208 and 5500 sports can be but these is a software which can enable that feature plz try at www.mobile9.com or search google with key words like torch+application+nokia+N73 it will be a little application costing less than 10dollars i hope you get it if you ever have a reasonable question i ll at your disposal azansuleman@yahoo.com or call +923008630055 during day times from morning 10 to 23:30 i am at +5 GMT regards John Adolf Constantine
