im just wonderin why other people here always compared this phone to other phone..just to remind you that ever phone has a different spec. so its up to the buyer if she/he will buy the phone at her on risk...get a life guyz it will not cost you a million buckz to buy this phone

The i8510 has the same battery (with also supposedly better talk time), but most users complain that it cant go on for more than a day of regular use. The n78 also has the same battery yet it can go on for 3-4 days of regular use. N79 is basically the same as n78 in that area. Im not sure if i7110 will be the same as i8510 though.
Furthermore, i doubt that the i7110 has the stated talk time and might prove to be a problem due to battery heating issues (coz of the metal back cover) which may put off many users. Its also not good for the battery either. Plus it cant stand up to the 24 hours of music that n79 has.

John, 20 Oct 2008Maybe need to know the comparison of Samsung i7110. Copy fo... moreYour comments arent exactly true. They both have a 5mp camera and a 120 mah battery. The optical trackpad isnt much. The preview didnt give it much points due to accidental presses in the menu.
The n79 also has lens cover, 24 hours of music, xpress-on covers and nice retail package. I think the n79 design is better as it has a better looking keypad. I also prefer the high quality plastic materials used on the n79 as opposed to metal as metallic phones have battery heating issues.

Maybe need to know the comparison of Samsung i7110. Copy form openion on Samsung i7110 forum.
i7110 over n79:
1. bigger screen.
2. optical trackpad
3. microSD (TransFlash) up to 16GB.
4. better camera with VGA 30fps, QVGA 120fps and face, smile and blink detection.
5. DivX & XviD playback support.
6. only 12.9 mm thick
7. steel case.
8. better design(in my opinion).
9. better battery.
n79 over i7110:
1. 3.5 mm audio output jack.
2. Stereo speakers.
3. n-gage.
4. Touch-sensitive Navi wheel.
5. 16M colors display.
6. lighter(97 g).

I've done it!! Just brought from ebay an orginal sim free n79 from hk to uk for £326.00 including insuance, although paid via paypal so covered anyway, takes 3-5 days till i get it, can't wait now. Not sure what colour it will be but not that bothered cause before xmas the extra back covers will be sold in pairs from nokia or ebay. Few sleepless nites now waiting ha ha.

But could someone p... morea led flash is only usefull in dim light situations and for objects in close range(max 5 feet) while a xenon flash is the ones that professional cameras have and works even in complete darkness for considerably longer range.
